• Conduct thorough assessments and formulate individualized treatment plans tailored to each client's needs.
• Provide consultation for the development of pre-crisis and crisis intervention strategies, behavioral guidelines, and medication treatment plans.
• Employ evidence-based screening tools alongside other clinical measures to assess client progress and treatment efficacy.
• Document patient interactions and treatment plans accurately and efficiently, adhering to regulatory compliance and organizational standards.
• Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to implement positive behavior support plans that enhance client engagement and care.
• Actively engage in licensing and accreditation processes, contributing to the overall quality standards of the clinic.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will primarily support a diverse patient population that includes individuals facing various mental health challenges, substance use disorders, and developmental disabilities. Our clients come from all walks of life, often experiencing complex socio-economic circumstances. The LMHC’s role is crucial in helping these individuals navigate their journeys toward recovery and improved quality of life, ensuring that care is personalized and culturally sensitive.

• A Master's Degree in a behavioral health field is required.
• An independent LMHC license as recognized by the state of Florida is mandatory.
