Job Summary:
Slipstream Life Sciences is dedicated to providing strategic consulting and managed solutions for the pharma and biotech sectors. The Salesforce Marketing/Data Cloud Consultant will implement and optimize Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud solutions, focusing on customer engagement and collaboration with various teams to deliver effective marketing programs.
Responsibilities:
• Design, build, and optimize Marketing Cloud journeys supporting email, SMS, and multichannel engagement use cases
• Implement Marketing Cloud capabilities including Journey Builder, Email Studio, Mobile Studio, Automation Studio, and Account Engagement (Pardot) where applicable
• Support Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (B2B) use cases including lead nurturing, scoring, grading, and sales alignment
• Partner with Salesforce Solution Architects and Business Analysts to translate engagement requirements into executable Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud solutions
• Collaborate with Customer Success Managers and creative/media agencies to operationalize campaign designs, templates, and journey logic
• Support Data Cloud-driven engagement use cases including data ingestion, identity resolution, DMOs, segmentation, and activation into Marketing Cloud
• Work with life sciences data sets (HCP, HCO, patient, consent, product, interaction data) to support compliant targeting and personalization
• Design and implement integrations between Marketing Cloud, Data Cloud, Salesforce CRM clouds, and external systems using APIs or middleware
• Support consent management, subscription management, and preference handling aligned to regulatory and business requirements
• Perform unit testing and support UAT for Marketing Cloud and data-driven engagement solutions
• Troubleshoot journey execution, data synchronization, and deliverability issues; support go-live and post-launch stabilization
• Follow SDLC and release practices including environment coordination, deployment readiness, and documentation
Qualifications:
Required:
• 3–6 years of hands-on Salesforce Marketing Cloud implementation experience
• Strong experience building and maintaining journeys in Journey Builder, including data events, decision splits, and multi-entry patterns
• Hands-on experience with Email Studio and Mobile Studio (SMS) for campaign execution
• Experience with Marketing Cloud Account Engagement (Pardot) for B2B or HCP engagement scenarios
• Strong working knowledge of Salesforce Data Cloud, including data ingestion, identity resolution, DMOs, segmentation, and activation
• Experience integrating Marketing Cloud and Data Cloud with external systems or CRM platforms using APIs or middleware
• Experience working with agencies and customer success teams to deliver engagement programs
• Experience working in Agile delivery teams
• Salesforce Marketing Cloud Consultant or Salesforce Marketing Cloud Developer certification
• Salesforce Data Cloud Consultant certification
Preferred:
• Experience with Salesforce CRM clouds (Service Cloud, Life Sciences Cloud, or Health Cloud)
• Experience working with life sciences data sets (HCP, HCO, patient services, consent, product data)
• Experience supporting regulated life sciences or healthcare engagement programs
• MuleSoft experience or familiarity with API-led integration patterns
• Experience with Agentforce or AI-driven engagement capabilities within Salesforce
• Exposure to GxP-regulated or validated environments, including consent and data governance considerations
