They design email templates, segment contact lists, analyze campaign performance, and ensure compliance with relevant regulations such as CAN-SPAM or GDPR. Their role is essential for businesses aiming to build customer relationships, drive sales, and enhance brand awareness through effective email communication. Remote Email Specialists often collaborate with marketing teams and use various email marketing platforms to achieve their goals.

What are some of the main challenges Remote Email Specialists face when coordinating campaigns across distributed teams?

Remote Email Specialists often need to coordinate campaign planning, content approval, and scheduling with colleagues in different locations and time zones. This can pose challenges with communication, feedback cycles, and ensuring everyone is aligned on deadlines. To manage these challenges, specialists typically rely on project management tools, clear documentation, and regular virtual meetings to keep campaigns on track and maintain collaboration with teammates in marketing, design, and analytics.

Job Description
Job Title: Email Marketing Execution Specialist - Global
Company: Hengstler-Dynapar
Location: Fully Remote (Headquartered in Elizabethtown, NC, USA, and Aldingen, Germany and Kezmorak, Slovakia)
About Us:
Hengstler-Dynapar is a global leader in industrial feedback solutions, driving innovation and delivering measurable results. With a dual headquarters in the United States and Germany, we empower our customers worldwide to excel in their industries. We are passionate about driving innovation and delivering measurable results, empowering our customers to succeed in their industries.
Role Overview
We are seeking a hands-on HubSpot expert to own global email execution, automation, and performance optimization across multiple business units. This role is ideal for someone who thrives inside HubSpot Marketing Hub - building advanced workflows, maintaining data hygiene, driving personalization, and clearly tying email activity to engagement, pipeline, and revenue impact.
In this multi-BU role, you will build, execute, test, and optimize email and lifecycle programs across North America and EMEA. You'll partner closely with Product Marketing Managers, Campaign Managers, and Digital Marketing to turn briefs into high-performing, measurable programs.
This is a doer role with visibility, ownership, and accountability for the global email and automation engine.
Email Creation & Execution
  • Build, QA, and execute HubSpot emails for newsletters, product launches, promotions, events, and distributor co-marketing.
  • Own end-to-end execution: templates, assets, personalization tokens, workflows, approvals, rendering QA, and final send.
  • Collaborate on email copy - refining messaging for clarity, persona relevance, and performance (with support from PMMs when needed).
  • Maintain a consistent, high-quality execution standard across brands and BUs.

Segmentation, Personalization & Data Health
  • Build and maintain advanced smart lists using persona, industry, product line, account lists, lifecycle stage, region (NA/EMEA), and engagement behavior.
  • Apply personalization tokens, dynamic content, and conditional logic to improve relevance and performance.
  • Ensure segmentation logic aligns with consent status, data hygiene, and regional compliance.
  • Proactively identify and help resolve HubSpot data issues that impact targeting, reporting, or automation.

Attribution, Analytics & Revenue Impact
  • Own email performance measurement, including:
    • Open Rate, CTR, CTOR
    • Conversion Rate
    • Engagement over time
    • Unsubscribes, spam, and deliverability signals
    • Form fills, MQLs, and downstream funnel impact
  • Use HubSpot reporting, UTMs, and GA4 to track attribution from email engagement through pipeline influence.
  • Translate performance data into clear insights and recommendations.
  • Maintain a structured A/B testing roadmap with documented learnings.

Automation, Workflows & Lifecycle Programs
  • Design, build, and optimize complex HubSpot workflows for nurture, onboarding, re-engagement, events, and persona-based campaigns.
  • Apply branching logic, lifecycle stages, lead scoring inputs, and suppression logic appropriately.
  • Monitor workflow performance and continuously improve engagement and conversion.
  • Support PD and launch efforts with targeted automation tied to buyer journeys.

AI-Driven Experimentation
  • Use AI tools to test and improve:
    • Subject lines and copy variations
    • Send timing and cadence
    • Segmentation and personalization strategies
    • Workflow logic and performance
  • Bring new ideas for experimentation and optimization, grounded in data.

Quality Assurance & Deliverability
  • Conduct rigorous QA: rendering, links, tags, tokens, deliverability checks, and mobile responsiveness.
  • Monitor sender health, list hygiene, bounce rates, and engagement trends.
  • Compliance & Governance
    • Ensure all email activity follows GDPR, CCPA, CASL, consent rules, data privacy requirements, and regional subscription types.
    • Manage opt in workflows, preference center logic, and compliant audience handling for NA & EMEA.

Qualifications:
  • 3 - 5+ years hands-on experience executing email marketing programs in HubSpot (Marketing Hub).
  • Strong understanding of email attribution, funnel impact, and performance metrics.
  • Proven ability to build segmented audiences and automated workflows.
  • High attention to detail and a rigorous QA mindset.
  • A true self-starter - proactive, organized, resourceful, and comfortable operating independently across multiple BUs.
  • Strong collaboration skills; able to work with PMMs, Sales, Digital Marketing, and regional stakeholders.
  • Experience with multi-language emails or EMEA localization is a plus.
