Job description

Pinterest is looking for an Email & Lifecycle Marketing Specialist to help build and scale email and push programs for our business audiences. In this role you'll partner across Marketing, Creative, Sales, Product and IT to deliver thoughtful, data-informed campaigns that drive advertiser awareness, engagement and revenue growth. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys combining strategy, execution and analysis while helping shape growing email programs with meaningful business impact.

What you'll do:

  • Develop and execute email and push programs for Pinterest's business audiences that drive advertiser awareness, engagement, and revenue growth. Own the process, including brief development, collaboration with Creative on copy and design, QA, launch and reporting. 
  • Partner with Email Marketing Manager and Mid-Market Marketing Director to develop email strategies that reflect business priorities, support go-to-market initiatives and create a consistent experience for advertisers. 
  • Run a structured testing and optimization program. Conduct tests across audience signals, funnel stage, messaging, design, cadence and more. Analyze performance data, synthesize findings into actionable recommendations and continuously improve program efficiency and impact over time.
  • Provide operational support for email marketing tools, including maintenance of Salesforce Account Engagement. 
  • Use AI to improve existing email processes and develop new ones as needed. Help create new templates, codify testing frameworks, improve intake and launch workflows, identify automation opportunities to make email programs more scalable.
  • Maintain a high bar for quality, compliance and customer experience across all sends, including list health, deliverability best practices, data privacy laws and clear, on-brand messaging.

What we're looking for:

  • At least 3 years of experience in email, CRM or lifecycle marketing, ideally in a B2B environment. Experience supporting advertiser, sales-led, or mid-market audiences is a plus.
  • Proficiency with a marketing automation platform (Salesforce Account Engagement preferred). Should be comfortable building and launching campaigns, running reports in Salesforce, maintaining data hygiene and trouble-shooting.   
  • Strong campaign execution skills, including campaign set up, QA, scheduling, stakeholder coordination and deployment.
  • Experience with audience segmentation, targeting and personalization based on lifecycle stage, engagement signals or business priorities.
  • Experimentation and analytics, including A/B testing methodology, performance reporting, insight generation, and translating results into actionable recommendations.
  • Has previously partnered closely with creative teams on design and copywriting for emails. Strong eye for clear messaging, user experience and brand consistency.
  • Strong cross-functional communication and collaboration skills. Partners effectively with Marketing, Sales, Product and IT stakeholders. 
  • Operational rigor and attention to detail, including documentation, QA, process discipline and comfort managing multiple campaign workflows in a fast-paced environment.
  • Demonstrated ability to use AI to accelerate workflows such as intake and launch processes, copy ideation, analysis and reporting, while applying sound judgment, validating outputs and maintaining ownership of final work.
  • Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
