Job description

About Walker Advertising
Since 1984, Walker Advertising has bridged the gap between a law firm's need to grow and an underserved community's need for trustworthy legal services. Our teams lead with empathy and without ego to serve others through integrity and trust. We dare to think differently and work to consistently raise the bar, creating a workplace environment based on respect.
We believe that our employees are not just numbers; they are people. People with families and lives outside of work. We understand that a career is just one piece of the puzzle that makes people successful, happy individuals. That's why as we grow our teams, we focus on the whole person.
About the role
We are looking for an Email Marketing Manager to join Walker Advertising and support the next phase of our digital growth strategy. This role will focus on building, executing, and optimizing email initiatives that nurture leads from marketing campaigns, strengthen audience engagement, and support broader brand and conversion goals across our portfolio, including Los Defensores.
The ideal candidate combines hands on email execution with lifecycle marketing strategy, strong analytical thinking, and the ability to collaborate across SEO, GEO, YouTube, organic social, web, reputation management, creative, and brand teams. As our organic ecosystem expands, email and CRM will be essential for turning campaign interest, content engagement, and audience growth into ongoing relationships with English and Spanish speaking audiences.
This person should understand how to translate educational content, lead generation campaigns, community initiatives, website resources, video content, and social engagement into effective email journeys that inform, nurture, and move audiences toward meaningful action.
What you'll do
  • Develop and execute email marketing campaigns that support lead nurturing, audience education, brand awareness, campaign engagement, and conversion goals.
  • Build bilingual English and Spanish email campaigns, newsletters, nurture sequences, promotional emails, and campaign follow ups for diverse audience segments.
  • Create email journeys that nurture leads generated from paid media, organic social, YouTube, website forms, community campaigns, events, content initiatives, and other marketing programs.
  • Partner with SEO and other marketing channels to understand high value audience questions, search behavior, AI visibility opportunities, and content themes that can be extended into email.
  • Coordinate with YouTube, organic social, web, creative, content, and brand teams to align email messaging with broader omnichannel campaigns and educational content initiatives.
  • Adapt web articles, legal resources, video topics, social content, reputation themes, and campaign assets into clear, helpful, and action oriented email content.
  • Manage audience segmentation, list targeting, preference logic, campaign scheduling, QA, deployment, and post send reporting.
  • Monitor email performance, including open rates, click rates, conversion activity, unsubscribe rates, list growth, engagement trends, and nurture flow performance.
  • Plan and execute testing strategies across subject lines, preview text, content structure, calls to action, send timing, creative format, language, and audience segments.
  • Translate performance data into meaningful insights and recommend adjustments that improve engagement, nurture effectiveness, and future campaign outcomes.
  • Maintain organized campaign records, calendars, asset trackers, workflow updates, segmentation notes, reporting materials, and testing documentation.
  • Support CRM database hygiene, tagging, list management, audience source tracking, and lifecycle reporting in partnership with internal stakeholders.
  • Help ensure email campaigns follow brand standards, legal sensitivity, accessibility best practices, deliverability guidelines, and compliance requirements.
  • Contribute to a connected organic digital ecosystem where email supports SEO, GEO, YouTube, organic social, reputation management, web content, and brand building through education.

Qualifications
  • 5+ years of experience in email marketing, lifecycle marketing, CRM marketing, campaign management, marketing automation, or a related digital marketing role.
  • Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Communications, Digital Media, Business, or a related discipline is preferred.
  • Bilingual English and Spanish strongly preferred, with the ability to support culturally relevant communication for English and Spanish speaking audiences.
  • Hands on experience building, launching, testing, and optimizing email campaigns, nurture flows, newsletters, and segmented audience journeys.
  • Experience using email marketing platforms, CRM systems, or marketing automation tools such as HubSpot, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, Marketo, Mailchimp, Braze, Iterable, Klaviyo, ActiveCampaign, or similar platforms.
  • Strong understanding of email best practices, including segmentation, personalization, deliverability, compliance, QA, testing, reporting, and campaign optimization.
  • Ability to interpret campaign metrics and turn data into clear recommendations that improve performance and audience engagement.
  • Experience creating content calendars and coordinating campaigns across multiple digital channels, including web, social, video, paid media, and content marketing.
  • Strong writing, editing, organization, communication, and project management skills.
  • Familiarity with project management platforms such as ClickUp, Asana, Monday.com, Trello, or similar workflow tools.
  • Experience working with lead generation, multicultural marketing, legal services, healthcare, financial services, or consumer education brands is a plus.
