A project manager at HD is right at the center of our success, coordinating the team's efforts as we deliver transformative and inspiring work.

As a Project Manager, Digital Experiences you will serve in a critical role as part of the Digital Experience & Technology team. You will ensure all stakeholders - both internally and with our clients - clearly understand the work, deadlines, budgets, and priorities and ultimately help our teams and clients succeed.

This role is on-site three days a week in our Milwaukee office.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Establish work and resourcing plans for a variety of technology projects.
  • Inspire and facilitate project teams while closely managing schedules and budgets.
  • Maximize team utilization (billable hours) and profitability by proactively clearing roadblocks, planning future activities, and seeking early approvals for upcoming work.
  • Coordinate activities of client stakeholders, client leadership, designers, developers, and strategists to plan and drive successful delivery of our projects.
  • Manage full lifecycle delivery, including technical planning, requirements gathering, user experience and creative design, content migration, deployments, and more.
  • Work with internal experts to assemble, verify, and present project and task estimates based upon approved requirements and designs.
  • Lead regular meetings to update clients on project status, including sharing details of deliverables, responsibilities, milestones, risks, and changes to plan or budget, as required.
  • Lead regular internal meetings to facilitate daily work plans and identify needs and challenges, and ensure teams are working in an efficient and successful manner.
  • Lend support to new business efforts in response to RFPs and other opportunities, including helping teams assemble initial high-level effort estimates, provisional project timelines and anticipated resourcing requirements.
  • Support internal operational and IT initiatives.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE

  • A minimum of six years experience managing technology implementation projects using Agile methodologies.
  • Demonstrated success leading projects with budgets greater than $100k.
  • Experience managing multiple simultaneous ongoing projects.
  • Excellent verbal, written, meeting facilitation and presentation skills.
  • Ability to work with a wide range of personalities and adjust approaches to work effectively with diverse and distributed teams.
  • Experience in effective client communication and stakeholder management.
  • Proficiency with Smartsheet, Microsoft Project or similar scheduling software.
  • Experience with JIRA or similar Agile/Task management software.
