* This is a hybrid role out of our Denver office with local travel expected*
Join our team as a Project Engineer, where you'll play a hands-on role in delivering innovative electrical engineering solutions that support critical industrial and gas facility infrastructure. At ENTRUST Solutions Group, we're proud to be an industry leader in engineering and consulting services - helping modernize, protect, and strengthen essential infrastructure across the country. If you enjoy taking ownership of your work, collaborating with innovative teams, and seeing your designs make a real-world impact, this role was built for you.
In this role, you'll work on electrical designs for low and medium voltage distribution systems supporting industrial facilities, compressor stations, and process-driven environments. You'll be involved in developing one-line and three-line diagrams, electrical schematics, grounding layouts, and Hazardous Area Classification (HAC) designs. You'll also support the specification of electrical equipment and process instrumentation, including RTUs, transmitters, flow meters, and other field devices. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams across civil, mechanical, controls, and automation groups while gaining exposure to complex design challenges and expanding your technical expertise in a fast-paced, project-driven environment.
As a Project Engineer, you'll lead electrical design efforts on mid-sized projects, ensuring technical accuracy and compliance with client standards and NEC requirements. You'll perform load flow, short circuit, and motor starting calculations, support equipment selection including transformers, MCCs, and switchgear, and contribute to the development of technical specifications. You'll mentor junior engineers, coordinate with design teams, and participate in QA/QC reviews. You'll also engage with clients to clarify requirements, support project execution, and conduct site visits, walkthroughs, and scoping activities helping drive safe, efficient, and high-quality project delivery.
What We Offer:
  • A supportive and inclusive work environment that values diversity and encourages innovation.
  • Opportunities for professional growth and career development.
  • Competitive salary and comprehensive benefits package, including generous paid time off, 401(k) with company match, tuition reimbursement, and flexible work schedules.
  • This position pays between $90,000 and $110,000 annually and is an exempt position. Benefits offered include company-sponsored medical, dental, vision, and 401(k) plan with company match. Also offered are tuition reimbursement, voluntary life, disability, critical illness, accident and hospitalization plans. HSA or FSA medical accounts and FSA dependent care and transportation/parking accounts are also available. These benefits are subject to employee contribution amounts generally set annually. Full-time employees are eligible to earn PTO hours. May be eligible for discretionary bonus as determined by the company.

Minimum Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering from ABET accredited university
  • 5+ years of experience in low and medium voltage electric distribution systems
  • Experience working in industrial, gas facility, or process-driven environments with electrical and instrumentation systems

Preferred Qualifications
  • Working knowledge of ETAP, SKM software for Arc Flash studies is a plus
  • EIT certification in Colorado is a plus.
