• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations of clients’ mental health status through virtual sessions.
• Develop tailored treatment plans based on evidence-based practices and individual client needs.
• Facilitate regular therapy sessions (individual and, when appropriate, group settings) to guide clients through their therapeutic journey.
• Provide psychoeducation and therapeutic tools to help clients manage symptoms and develop coping strategies.
• Collaborate with other healthcare providers, such as psychiatrists or medical doctors, to ensure integrated patient care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client progress within our EHR systems.
• Actively participate in team meetings and supervision to enhance service delivery and personal professional development.

As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor at Life Care Psychotherapy Services, you will work with a diverse client population facing various mental health challenges, including depression, anxiety, trauma, substance use disorders, and eating disorders. You will have the opportunity to apply culturally competent approaches to therapy, connecting with clients from various backgrounds and fostering a safe and inclusive therapeutic space.

• A master's or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid professional license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
• A minimum of four years of relevant counseling experience in a clinical setting.
• In-depth knowledge of various mental health disorders and treatment strategies, particularly evidence-based approaches.
• Demonstrated strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build trust with clients and their families.
• Proficiency in virtual therapy modalities and EHR systems.
• A commitment to ethical practice, confidentiality, and maintaining professional boundaries.

• Experience providing therapy across different age groups, including children, adolescents, and adults.
• Background in crisis intervention and strong ability to respond effectively in challenging situations.
• Familiarity with various therapeutic modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or trauma-informed care.
