• Conduct comprehensive assessments to evaluate clients' mental health status, identifying their strengths and areas for improvement.
• Develop individualized treatment plans that incorporate evidence-based methodologies tailored to specific client needs.
• Engage in regular therapeutic sessions (both individual and group formats), employing various therapeutic techniques to promote healing and resilience.
• Provide ongoing support and resources to clients, guiding them in developing coping strategies and tools necessary for overcoming their challenges.
• Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and refer clients to psychiatrists and other healthcare providers when necessary.
• Document client progress and treatment outcomes meticulously in our EHR system, adhering to privacy regulations and ethical standards.

The client population you will be working with encompasses a wide array of mental health challenges, including but not limited to substance abuse, depression, anxiety disorders, and eating disorders. Our diverse clientele reflects the vibrant community of San Francisco, allowing you to engage with individuals from varied cultural and socio-economic backgrounds. Cultural competence and sensitivity to the unique needs of each client are paramount to our approach.

• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.
• Possession of a current and valid license as an LMFT, LPCC, or LCSW in California.
• A minimum of four years of clinical experience in a mental health setting.
• In-depth knowledge of mental health disorders, treatment modalities, and crisis intervention strategies.
• Skill in using various therapeutic techniques to deliver culturally responsive therapy.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills, allowing for effective rapport-building with clients from diverse backgrounds.
• Proficiency with electronic health records (EHR) and comfort using digital tools for remote counseling.
• A commitment to ethical practice, professional boundaries, and client confidentiality.

• Experience facilitating both individual and group therapy sessions, especially within remote settings.
• Familiarity with telehealth best practices and digital mental health resources.
• Proven track record of effective crisis management and intervention.
