You will work closely with educators, parents, and other mental health professionals to create a supportive virtual environment for students.

• Provide virtual consultation and counseling services to clients from the comfort of their homes, engaging actively with students, parents, and teachers through telehealth platforms.
• Conduct thorough assessments to identify student needs, develop individualized treatment plans, and set achievable goals that align with clients' educational and emotional developmental milestones.
• Coordinate with school staff and local agencies to advocate for children’s rights and access to necessary resources, ensuring they receive the support they need both in and out of the classroom.
• Utilize evidence-based counseling techniques and therapeutic modalities tailored to the unique challenges faced by children and adolescents.
• Maintain accurate documentation of all client interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in accordance with legal and ethical guidelines.

Your primary focus will be on school-aged children and their families, involving a diverse clientele with varying degrees of emotional and behavioral challenges. You will address issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, family conflict, and social skills deficits, all of which can significantly impact the educational experience and overall quality of life for children. Collaborating with schools ensures your efforts directly contribute to improving student outcomes and enhancing their learning environment.

• Master's degree in Social Work (MSW) from an accredited institution.
• Current and valid Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in California.
• At least three years of post-graduate clinical experience, preferably in a school or educational setting.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with a demonstrated ability to empathize and engage effectively with children and their families.
• Proficient in using telehealth technologies and virtual communication tools for remote service delivery.

Experience working within educational systems and familiarity with Individualized Education Plans (IEPs) and 504 Plans is advantageous. Knowledge of trauma-informed care practices and community resource navigation will further enhance your ability to support our clients effectively.
