• Conduct thorough assessments and create detailed treatment plans that cater to the individual needs of clients.
• Develop and implement crisis plans, risk assessments, and positive behavior support plans in collaboration with other team members.
• Maintain meticulous records, ensuring timely completion of required documentation in accordance with regulatory standards.
• Engage with evidence-based screening tools as guided by the clinical team, ensuring effective evaluation of client progress.
• Actively participate in accreditation processes and maintain communication with relevant service systems and community partners.
• Foster relationships with local, state, and federal agencies to promote the agency’s mission and explore potential funding opportunities.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and represent the agency at conferences and community events.
• Embrace the agency's mission and integrate its values into everyday practices to promote a culture of support and recovery.
• Collaborate with the Clinic Director to perform additional duties as necessary to meet organizational goals.

The Licensed Mental Health Counselor will work with a diverse population, including individuals facing emotional and psychological challenges, those undergoing recovery from substance use, and clients with developmental disabilities or brain injuries. You will advocate for each client's unique needs, helping them navigate their mental health journey within a supportive and compassionate framework.

• A Bachelor's or Master's degree in a behavioral health field is required for this position.
• Possession of an LMHC license from the state board is essential.
• Proven ability to maintain clinical records meticulously and prepare comprehensive reports.
• Strong collaborative skills for effective teamwork within an interdisciplinary setting.
• Exceptional communication abilities to express ideas clearly and play an active role in client engagement.
• Independently effective in making well-informed decisions grounded in professional knowledge.

• Experience with telehealth services is preferred as this role heavily relies on remote interactions.
• Previous work in community mental health settings or similar environments is advantageous.
• Familiarity with evidence-based practices and therapeutic techniques relevant to diverse populations.
