This full-time role allows you to engage with diverse populations and make significant contributions to the mental well-being of youth.

About the Organization

At Charlie Healthcare Services, we are committed to providing accessible mental health care to individuals of all backgrounds. Our organization emphasizes the importance of mental health and strives to create an inclusive atmosphere where both clients and therapists feel valued. Our skilled team of licensed professionals shares a collective goal: to improve the mental health landscape and reduce stigma associated with seeking help.

Work Environment

This position is remote, providing flexibility and the ability to work from a comfortable setting that suits your lifestyle. While primarily working virtually, you will participate in regular team meetings and training sessions to foster collaboration, professional development, and a supportive work culture. We ensure that our therapists have access to the resources and supervision they need to thrive in their roles.

Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive assessments and evaluations, utilizing interviews, psychometric tests, and observational feedback to formulate accurate diagnoses and individualized treatment plans.
  • Deliver high-quality, evidence-based therapy to individuals, groups, and families, employing modalities such as cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and play therapy as needed.
  • Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including educators, school administrators, and external providers, to ensure integrated and holistic care tailored to meet the unique needs of each student.
  • Provide crisis intervention to assist students in distress, employing techniques to de-escalate tense situations and connect them with appropriate resources promptly.
  • Champion community outreach efforts by conducting workshops and seminars aimed at promoting mental health awareness, strengthening resilience, and advocating for the importance of mental wellness in schools.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on serving school-aged children and adolescents who may be experiencing a wide range of mental health challenges, such as anxiety, depression, trauma, behavioral issues, and more. Through effective communication and rapport-building techniques, you will gain insights into each studentโ€™s unique experiences and perspectives, allowing you to tailor interventions that truly resonate with them.

Qualifications
  • A valid independent license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is required.
  • A masterโ€™s degree or a doctorate in Social Work, Counseling, Therapy, or Psychology is essential for this role.
  • Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to engage effectively with students, parents, and other professionals.
  • Cultural competence to adeptly handle a diverse client base, including an understanding of different ethnic, cultural, and socioeconomic backgrounds.
  • Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail for meticulous documentation of patient interactions and treatment plans.
Preferred Experience
  • Prior experience working in an educational setting, especially in remote or teletherapy, would be advantageous.
  • Familiarity with virtual counseling platforms such as Telehealth or Doxy.me to effectively engage with clients in a remote environment.
  • Exposure to a range of therapeutic techniques and the ability to adapt evidence-based practices to online settings.
Compensation and Benefits

The salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $100,000 per year, commensurate with your level of experience and qualifications. In addition to competitive pay, we offer a comprehensive benefits package that includes:

  • Robust health insurance options, covering medical, dental, and vision needs.
  • Professional liability insurance to ensure your peace of mind when working with clients.
  • Generous paid time off, including holidays and personal days, promoting a healthy work-life balance.
  • Continuous opportunities for professional growth through workshops, training, and access to advanced educational resources.
  • Regular supervision and mentoring from seasoned professionals to elevate your clinical skills and career trajectory.
