Purpose of Role
The Lead Product Manager, Platform Services, owns the strategy, roadmap, and delivery of core platform capabilities that power Under Armour's digital commerce ecosystem. This role translates business and customer needs into scalable services, drives cross-team alignment, and delivers measurable improvements across conversion, performance, and operational efficiency. The platform portfolio includes shared commerce services such as APIs, integrations, performance, observability, and foundational capabilities that support our direct-to-consumer digital experience.
Your Impact

  • Lead initiatives from discovery through delivery and post-launch optimization
  • Translate strategy into product requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria
  • Leverage market research, analytics, and feedback to inform product direction and prioritize features based on customer impact and business goals.
  • Partner with engineering teams to evolve platform architecture, automation, observability, and AI-enabled capabilities that improve scalability and operational excellence.
  • Balance competing priorities across security hardening, performance optimization, tech debt reduction, and feature enablement.
  • Own product performance metrics and drive improvements in adoption, reliability, and scalability
  • Lead the platform squad while coordinating with cross-functional teams to align roadmaps, resolve dependencies, and drive successful delivery of shared platform capabilities.
  • Build strong stakeholder alignment and communicate progress, priorities, and risks clearly
  • Create a strong product narrative that articulates how platform investments drive business outcomes (revenue protection, cost savings, velocity gains, etc.)

Qualifications
  • 5 to 8+ years of experience in a technical Product Manager or Product Owner role, ideally on a platform, infrastructure, or developer tools team
  • Deep understanding of ecommerce architecture such as APIs (REST, GraphQL), headless commerce patterns, CDN/caching, authentication flows
  • Experience with Salesforce Commerce Cloud (SFCC) or comparable enterprise ecommerce platforms.
  • Experience with platform or service-oriented architecture within digital or ecommerce environments
  • Familiarity with SAFe/PI planning or similar scaled agile frameworks
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to translate complex technical concepts into executive level narratives and business outcomes.
  • Proven ability to define product vision and deliver measurable business outcomes
  • Strong strategic thinking with ability to balance long-term platform investments and near-term delivery
  • Strong stakeholder management and executive communication skills
  • Advanced analytical skills with experience defining KPIs and using data to drive decisions
  • Ability to lead multiple initiatives in a fast-paced, ambiguous environment
