Work Environment

This full-time position operates entirely remotely, offering the flexibility necessary to accommodate a balanced work-life dynamic. The therapist will have the autonomy to manage their schedule, including evening and weekend hours, to better connect with clients. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough psychosocial assessments to understand clients' mental health challenges, strengths, and available resources.
  • Deliver individual, family, and group therapy sessions utilizing evidence-based treatment modalities such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), solution-focused therapy, and trauma-informed approaches.
  • Devise and implement personalized treatment plans that incorporate specific goals and interventions reflecting each client's unique needs.
  • Collaborate with psychiatrists, psychologists, and other healthcare professionals to provide coordinated care that enhances client outcomes.
  • Offer crisis intervention, including risk assessment and safety planning, when required to ensure client safety.
  • Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation in adherence to all ethical and legal standards.
  • Lead engaging group therapy sessions, psychoeducational classes, and support groups to promote healthy coping strategies and foster community.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will serve a diverse clientele, including individuals, couples, and families from various socio-economic backgrounds. Our client population often includes those grappling with depression, anxiety, relational issues, trauma, and major life transitions, necessitating an understanding of eco-cultural factors affecting mental health.

Qualifications
  • A Master's degree in Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
  • Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
  • Possess strong interpersonal, communication, and assessment skills to effectively engage clients.
Preferred Experience
  • Minimum of two years of experience working in a mental health or outpatient setting.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based therapeutic modalities and treatment strategies.
