This position is 100% remote, allowing you the flexibility to work from the comfort of your home while connecting with clients through telehealth services. The Shelter Counseling Clinic uses advanced teletherapy platforms to ensure secure, effective, and engaging conversations with clients. • Conduct weekly supervision sessions for practicum students pursuing clinical licensure or currently enrolled in Master’s degree programs. You'll provide guidance, share insights, and evaluate their progress in real-time.
• Deliver comprehensive psychotherapy services to a variety of clients, including individuals in crisis, couples navigating relationship challenges, and families seeking support.
• Collaborate with other health care professionals and referral organizations to create a network of support for our clients, ensuring continuity and coordination of care.
• Design and implement individualized treatment plans, integrating therapeutic best practices while remaining sensitive to each client's unique circumstances.
• Maintain precise and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and outcomes in compliance with clinic standards and legal requirements.
• Stay abreast of the latest developments in mental health research, therapeutic methodologies, and trends to enhance your clinical effectiveness and treatment strategies.

• A Master’s Degree in Psychology, Social Work, Counseling, or a related field is required.
• A valid state license as a Licensed Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is essential.
• Professional liability insurance is needed to ensure compliance and safety for both yourself and your clients.

• A minimum of two years of experience in a clinical counseling role, ideally in both individual and group therapy settings.
• Experience supervising or mentoring trainees or practicum students is highly valued, as it reflects your capacity to lead and inspire future professionals.
