• Provide trauma-informed counseling to individuals, couples, and families, addressing a variety of mental health issues.
• Incorporate Christian counseling principles during therapy sessions for clients who wish to explore this faith-based approach.
• Create personalized treatment plans that reflect the individual needs and goals of each client, ensuring a tailored therapeutic experience.
• Deliver counseling services to clients referred from local churches, understanding the unique dynamics of faith-based communities.
• Engage proactively in community outreach and networking initiatives to build a strong client base and secure new referral sources.
• Collaborate with other professionals, including social workers and clinical counselors, to provide coordinated and comprehensive care for all clients.
• Maintain meticulous client records and document progress notes promptly in our EHR system, ensuring continuity of care.
• Communicate regularly with the center director regarding your schedule and availability to ensure optimal service delivery.

In this role, you will work with a diverse client population, including individuals and families navigating challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relational issues. Our unique focus on integrating spiritual principles allows counselors to support clients who seek a faith-informed perspective on their mental health journey.

• A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a related field is required.
• Must hold a licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) license in Washington, with a focus on remote practice.
• A strong foundation in Biblical principles and counseling techniques is essential for those wishing to integrate a faith-based approach in therapy.
• Demonstrated knowledge and experience in trauma counseling with a minimum of one year of relevant experience.
• Ability to work effectively with a broad range of clients across various age groups and backgrounds.
• Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to facilitate effective interactions with clients and team members.
• Commitment to maintaining confidentiality and adhering to ethical guidelines in all aspects of practice.

• Preference for candidates with dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland.
• Experience with EMDR therapy or willingness to complete basic EMDR training within three months of hire.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and interventions to best meet the needs of our diverse client population.

We offer a competitive salary ranging from USD 100,000 to USD 105,000 annually, recognizing the expertise and contributions of our counselors. Along with a flexible schedule, our benefits package includes professional development assistance to support your ongoing education and training.
