• Provide trauma-informed counseling services to individuals, couples, and families, focusing on their unique experiences and needs.
• Develop and implement personalized treatment plans that reflect the goals and preferences of your clients.
• Incorporate Christian counseling principles into therapeutic sessions for clients who embrace a faith-based approach.
• Assist in providing counseling services to clients referred from local churches while actively engaging in community outreach efforts to expand your client base.
• Collaborate closely with other professionals, including social workers and clinical counselors, to ensure comprehensive and coordinated care.
• Maintain accurate and timely records of client interactions, and input progress notes into the Electronic Health Record (EHR) system.
• Communicate transparently with the center director regarding your scheduling needs and client availability.

The clientele at Soul Restore Counseling Center encompasses a diverse range of individuals and families, many of whom are navigating complex trauma histories. • A Master's degree in counseling, social work, or a closely related field is required.
• Current licensure as an LPC, LMFT, or LCSW in Washington, DC is mandatory. Alternatively, candidates can be considered if they are in the final stages of residency, with less than 200 hours remaining.
• Strong familiarity with biblical counseling techniques and an understanding of the Bible is essential.
• Proficiency in various therapeutic modalities and interventions, particularly EMDR, is a significant advantage.

• A minimum of 1 year of professional experience in trauma counseling is required.
• Dual licensure in Virginia or Maryland is highly desired to facilitate broader service options for clients.
• Experience working with diverse populations and age groups will be beneficial.
