• Conduct remote counseling sessions with individuals, couples, and families, ensuring a personalized and therapeutic experience.
• Perform comprehensive assessments to gain a deep understanding of each client's mental health challenges, developing tailored treatment plans and clearly defined goals for progress.
• Employ evidence-based therapeutic techniques to tackle emotional, psychological, and behavioral issues, adapting strategies to fit clients' unique situations.
• Provide immediate interventions during crisis situations, prioritizing clients' safety and well-being with prompt support and strategic action.
• Maintain precise and confidential client records, including progress notes and treatment plans, in adherence to legal and ethical standards in mental health practice.
• Educate clients on their mental health conditions, equipping them with relevant coping strategies and resources to promote effective management of their mental health.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams and external resources to foster holistic care, ensuring clients receive comprehensive support tailored to their needs.
• Engage in continuous professional development to keep abreast of the latest advancements in mental health counseling and best practices.

• Active licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC) in Massachusetts or the ability to obtain licensure.

• Experience in crisis intervention and management.
• Professional training in specialized therapeutic modalities or certifications (e.g., CBT, DBT, EMDR).
• Prior involvement in community mental health initiatives or outreach programs.
