In this remote position, you will be working in an outpatient care model, interacting regularly with clients via telehealth platforms. • Conduct thorough evaluations to assess the extent and impact of mood disorder symptoms in clients, documenting findings systematically for treatment planning.
• Collaborate with clients to create personalized treatment plans that reflect their individual goals, preferences, and cultural backgrounds, employing evidence-based treatments such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT).
• Provide education and support to clients and their families regarding mood disorders, treatment options, and effective self-care practices to facilitate recovery.
• Regularly monitor and document client progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as necessary based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Work in partnership with psychiatrists and other healthcare professionals to create a comprehensive care approach that addresses all aspects of the clients' wellbeing.
• Engage in continuous learning by staying current with research and developments related to mood disorders to enhance the effectiveness of treatment strategies.
• Maintain accurate and confidential client records in accordance with ethical and legal standards to safeguard clients’ privacy and treatment history.
• Participate in regular team meetings, case consultations, and professional development programs to further hone skills and share insights.
• Advocate for clients' mental health needs, working to combat stigma and ensure access to necessary resources and support.

You will primarily be working with individuals facing mood disorders, including anxiety, depression, and bipolar disorder. Our clients come from various backgrounds and demographics, requiring a culturally competent approach to therapy that respects and acknowledges their unique experiences and challenges.

• Current and active state licensure as a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) is required.
• A master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field is necessary.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to establish a trusting therapeutic relationship with clients.
• Ability to approach client experiences with empathy and understanding, demonstrating a nonjudgmental attitude towards their struggles.
• Strong organizational and time-management skills to effectively handle caseloads and administrative responsibilities within deadlines.

• Demonstrated experience working in a clinical setting with clients suffering from mood disorders or related mental health issues.
• Familiarity with evidence-based therapies, such as CBT and DBT, supported by formal training or certification where applicable.
• Experience in providing telehealth services, with proficiency in using virtual communication tools.

• Annual salary in the range of $90,000 to $100,000, commensurate with qualification and experience.
