In this full-time role, you will be a vital part of our integrated care approach, working remotely to deliver holistic mental health support to individuals facing co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders.

About the Organization

Cure Tablet is an innovative outpatient care practice dedicated to transforming the mental health landscape. We aim to provide comprehensive, patient-centered care that combines mental health counseling with substance use treatment. Our interdisciplinary team includes licensed clinicians, psychiatrists, and addiction specialists working collaboratively to foster recovery and emotional well-being. With our telehealth model, we are breaking barriers to access, ensuring that clients receive the support they need, when they need it.

This remote position allows for flexibility and work-life balance while contributing to an essential mission. You will engage in virtual consultations, utilizing advanced telehealth technologies that facilitate effective communication with clients and interdisciplinary team members. • Collaborate closely with clients to develop personalized treatment plans tailored to address their unique needs, integrating evidence-based interventions such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Mindfulness-Based Stress Reduction (MBSR).

  • Provide individual and group therapy sessions aimed at equipping clients with vital coping strategies, relapse prevention techniques, and emotional regulation skills.

  • Integrate care seamlessly with our multidisciplinary team, participating in case reviews with psychiatrists, nurses, and addiction specialists to adjust treatment protocols as necessary.

  • Participate in regular substance use monitoring and employ motivational interviewing techniques to encourage clients throughout their recovery journey.

  • Educate clients and their families about the intricate relationship between mental health and substance use disorders, emphasizing the importance of adherence to treatment plans.

  • Ensure timely and accurate documentation of treatment progress, interventions, and referrals, adhering to ethical and legal standards to maintain confidentiality.

  • Engage actively in case conferences, staff meetings, and professional development trainings focusing on emerging best practices in the treatment of co-occurring disorders.

Patient Population / Client Focus

You will primarily work with a diverse client population dealing with various mental health challenges, including anxiety, depression, and trauma, alongside substance use issues. Our clients often come from underrepresented communities, highlighting the importance of cultural competence and individualized care. Your role is crucial in supporting these individuals as they navigate recovery, aiming for sustainable mental well-being.

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology from an accredited institution.

  • Current and valid licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC), or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in the state of Georgia.

  • Demonstrated proficiency in evidence-based therapies for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).

  • Strong understanding of the complexities surrounding mental health and substance use disorders, along with the ability to work effectively in an interdisciplinary setting.

  • Exceptional interpersonal skills with a passion for empowering clients towards recovery.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of supervised clinical experience in a mental health or substance use treatment setting.

  • Experience utilizing telehealth platforms for therapy, including assessment and treatment delivery.

  • Familiarity with community resources for mental health and substance use support.
