  • Facilitate both individual and group therapy sessions aimed at improving clients’ coping strategies, emotional regulation, and relapse prevention techniques.
  • Work in concert with a multidisciplinary team, ensuring integrated care delivery that incorporates psychiatry, nursing, and addiction expertise.
  • Implement regular substance use monitoring while employing motivational interviewing techniques to motivate clients toward recovery.
  • Provide essential education to clients and their families about the relationship between mental health and substance use, reinforcing the importance of adherence to the treatment plan.
  • Maintain meticulous and timely documentation of therapeutic progress, interventions, and referrals in compliance with ethical and legal standards.
  • Engage in ongoing training, participate in case conferences, and contribute to staff meetings to enhance your knowledge and skills regarding co-occurring disorder treatment.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The ideal candidate will be passionate about working with a diverse client population, which includes individuals navigating the complexities of co-occurring mental health and substance use disorders. • Demonstrated knowledge and proficiency in evidence-based therapies tailored for co-occurring disorders, including Integrated Dual Diagnosis Treatment (IDDT) and Motivational Interviewing (MI).
  • Strong interpersonal abilities and capacity to work collaboratively within an interdisciplinary team.
Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of professional experience in mental health counseling, with a focus on treating individuals with co-occurring disorders preferred.
  • Experience in providing teletherapy services and familiarity with digital health monitoring tools.
