Clearance: US Citizenship Required. Ability to obtain the required government security clearance (CBP Public Trust Final).
This is a hybrid position with 1-2 days per week onsite in Ashburn, Virginia.

We are seeking a Mid-Level Manual Tester to support the delivery of high-quality software solutions for our federal clients. This role plays a critical part in ensuring applications meet business requirements, performance expectations, and quality standards before release.
You will work closely with Product Owners, Business Analysts, Developers, and stakeholders to identify defects early, validate functionality, and ensure reliable user experiences across multiple platforms and environments.
This role blends quality assurance expertise with analytical problem-solving. You will:
  • Review business requirements, user stories, and functional specifications to understand system behavior and acceptance criteria.
  • Design, document, and execute detailed test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Perform functional, regression, integration, smoke, and user acceptance testing.
  • Identify, document, track, and verify software defects using Jira or similar defect management tools.
  • Collaborate with developers and business stakeholders to reproduce and resolve issues.
  • Execute database and data validation testing using SQL queries where applicable.
  • Participate in Agile ceremonies including sprint planning, backlog refinement, daily standups, and retrospectives.
  • Maintain comprehensive testing documentation, defect logs, and quality metrics.
  • Support release validation and post-deployment verification activities.

  • Experience creating and executing test cases, test scenarios, and test plans.
  • Hands-on experience with Jira, Azure DevOps, or similar defect management tools.
  • Ability to analyze requirements and identify testing gaps and risks.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.
  • Self-starter with excellent problem-solving and critical-thinking abilities.

Preferred Qualifications
