Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct comprehensive suicide risk assessments and ensure detailed documentation is completed accurately.
  • Provide crisis intervention and psychotherapy, utilizing effective techniques even in challenging environments.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams, including medical and support staff, to assess and diagnose psychiatric disorders comprehensively.
  • Draft clinical reports, formulate individualized treatment plans, and participate in consultations for complex cases to optimize patient care.

  • Act as a key communicator within the care team, making informed recommendations and collaborating with clients, families, and other healthcare professionals.

  • Be available for on-call crisis interventions and provide emergency consultations when needed during regular workdays.
  • Conduct thorough mental health evaluations that include the assessment of criminal backgrounds and substance use history.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Qualifications
  • A Master’s or Doctorate degree in clinical psychology, counseling, clinical social work, or a related field from an accredited institution (e.g., MA, MS, MSW, MFT, MHC, PhD, PsyD).
  • A valid independent clinician license in the state of Oregon (e.g., LCSW, LMFT, LPC).
