Who we need
Infinity Software has been part of Aquila since 2021. We build software that helps alternative lending institutions lend money to all individuals regardless of their financial history. At Infinity, we recognize that the only way for our clients to perform better is for our software to outperform the status quo, surpass the competition, and exceed expectations. Our highly customizable platform delivers functionality to manage loan products, marketing campaigns, collections, analytics, and reporting with precision and efficiency.
Reporting to the Director of Operations, we are hiring a Manager of Infrastructure to lead the evolution of our cloud infrastructure, DevOps, and quality assurance functions while helping shape the future of the Infinity platform. As our new Manager of Infrastructure, you will balance strategic leadership with technical execution, guiding infrastructure architecture, modernizing our Azure environment, and building the systems, processes, and automation that enable reliable, scalable software delivery. Working closely with Product, Development, and business leaders, you will help strengthen platform performance, improve operational efficiency, advance AI initiatives, and create the technical foundation that allows us to continue delivering on our promise of software our customers will not outgrow. You will also lead and develop a small team while influencing technical direction across the broader engineering organization.
This is a full-time remote opportunity open to candidates across the United States and Canada.
What's in it for you
Ownership. This is an opportunity to shape the future of infrastructure at Infinity. Following our transition from on-premises infrastructure to Azure, you will have the autonomy to modernize our cloud environment, strengthen reliability and performance, introduce automation, and build the technical foundation that supports continuous delivery and future growth. Your ideas and expertise will directly influence how we evolve our platform.
Impact. Infrastructure is at the heart of everything we deliver to our customers. You will lead initiatives that improve system performance, reduce downtime, strengthen scalability, and enable new AI-powered capabilities across our products. Working closely with Product and Development, you will help ensure we continue delivering software our customers can depend on today while building for tomorrow.
Leadership and growth. This is a player-coach leadership role where you will have the opportunity to mentor and develop a growing team while remaining close to the technology. As part of Constellation Software, you will have access to continuous learning, leadership development, and opportunities to advance your career within Infinity, Aquila, or another business unit. Whether your ambition is to deepen your technical expertise or grow into broader technology leadership, you will have the support and opportunity to do so.
How you will make an impact:
  • Lead infrastructure strategy and modernization. You will define and execute the roadmap for Infinity's cloud infrastructure, ensuring it is secure, scalable, reliable, and aligned with the long-term needs of the business. You will evaluate emerging technologies, recommend architectural improvements, and guide the ongoing evolution of our Azure environment to improve performance, resilience, and operational efficiency.
  • Build a modern DevOps practice. You will strengthen our deployment and operational capabilities by advancing infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, monitoring, logging, and automated testing. You will champion best practices that reduce manual effort, improve release quality, minimize outages, and support continuous delivery across our software platform.
  • Drive innovation through AI and emerging technologies. You will lead the evaluation and adoption of AI-powered capabilities that enhance both our internal operations and our product offerings. Working closely with Product and Development, you will identify opportunities to integrate new technologies, accelerate delivery, and create innovative solutions that deliver greater value to our customers.
  • Lead and develop the team. You will coach, mentor, and support a small team of Infrastructure, DevOps, and QA professionals, fostering a culture of accountability, collaboration, continuous learning, and technical excellence. As a hands-on leader, you will remove obstacles, provide technical guidance, and help your team grow while remaining actively involved in solving complex technical challenges.
  • Partner across the business. You will work closely with Product, Development, and business leaders to understand priorities, balance technical and business needs, and ensure infrastructure decisions enable product innovation and exceptional customer experiences. You will communicate clearly with stakeholders, helping translate technical concepts into practical business outcomes.

Here's what you bring:
  • The leadership. You have experience leading and developing technical teams, creating an environment where people are empowered to do their best work while remaining accountable for outcomes. You bring a coaching mindset to leadership, balancing mentorship with clear expectations, thoughtful feedback, and a commitment to continuous improvement.
  • The infrastructure expertise. You have experience designing, building, and supporting secure, scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure. You understand modern infrastructure architecture, networking, security, monitoring, disaster recovery, and performance optimization, and you can confidently guide technical decisions that improve reliability and scalability.
  • The DevOps mindset. You have experience building and improving infrastructure automation, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code, and automated testing practices. You are passionate about creating efficient, repeatable processes that improve software quality, accelerate releases, and reduce operational risk.
  • The technical curiosity. You stay current with emerging technologies and enjoy exploring new ways to solve business challenges. You are excited by opportunities to leverage AI, automation, and modern cloud technologies to improve internal operations and enhance customer-facing products.
  • The strategic and analytical thinking. You can evaluate technical and business requirements, identify patterns, assess trade-offs, and recommend practical solutions that balance short-term priorities with long-term scalability. You are comfortable making decisions in evolving environments and communicating the reasoning behind them.
  • The collaboration and communication skills. You build trusted relationships across Product, Development, and business teams, translating complex technical concepts into clear recommendations for a variety of audiences. You are an approachable, collaborative leader who values diverse perspectives and works effectively across functions to achieve shared goals.

Why join?
