Job description

Company Overview

Docusign brings agreements to life. Over 1.5 million customers and more than a billion people in over 180 countries use Docusign solutions to accelerate the process of doing business and simplify people's lives. With intelligent agreement management, Docusign unleashes business-critical data that is trapped inside of documents. Until now, these were disconnected from business systems of record, costing businesses time, money, and opportunity. Using Docusign's Intelligent Agreement Management platform, companies can create, commit, and manage agreements with solutions created by the #1 company in e-signature and contract lifecycle management (CLM).

What you'll do

Our Finance team plays a critical role in ensuring accurate financial reporting, optimal financial management, and efficient operations across Docusign. The Finance BI team partners with various organizations at Docusign to streamline workflows, automate manual processes, and make critical data more readily available-ultimately empowering teams with data-driven insights. The Finance BI Developer is a unique, forward-thinking role designed for a creative problem-solver who can translate big-picture business needs into functional data solutions. In addition to traditional and manual coding skillsets, this role leverages cutting-edge Al tools and LLMs to design, build, and deploy data insights. You will own the lifecycle of a project from initial idea to final implementation-independently using Al to bridge technical gaps, write code, and build data models. This role is highly execution-focused, allowing you to dive deep into data and build out-of-the-box solutions with minimal reliance on heavy cross-functional alignment or extensive stakeholder management.

This position is an individual contributor role reporting to the Manager, Finance Business Intelligence.

Responsibility

  • Take high-level financial goals and independently turn them into working prototypes, data models, and interactive analytics dashboards

  • Design conceptual, logical, and physical data models to aggregate and structure data for optimized reporting

  • Create and maintain visual dashboards (e.g., Tableau) to monitor KPIs, business performance metrics, and industry trends

  • Actively use Al tools to generate SQL queries, build data pipelines, and troubleshoot technical roadblocks in a Snowflake data warehouse environment

  • Use a high degree of creativity to solve data fragmentation issues, using Al to fast-track normalization and data prep processes

  • Ensure standardized definitions of Finance KPIs are accurately represented in the auditable outputs and final dashboards
