• Conduct detailed assessments to determine the specific mental health needs of clients, establishing rapport and trust.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans aimed at addressing the unique challenges faced by each client, using evidence-based practices.
• Provide individual counseling sessions, utilizing various therapeutic modalities, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy, solution-focused therapy, and mindfulness techniques to facilitate client progress.
• Stay updated on the latest developments and methodologies in the counseling field to ensure the highest standard of care.
• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of client interactions, treatment progress, and any referrals made, ensuring compliance with state regulations.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including other mental health providers, when necessary, to facilitate comprehensive care.
• Remain accessible and responsive to client's inquiries and feedback, ensuring an engaging therapeutic relationship throughout their counseling journey.

You will work with a diverse range of clients, including adolescents, adults, and families grappling with a variety of mental health issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and relationship challenges. Our client-focused approach ensures that you are equipped to address each individual's unique experiences, fostering a safe and non-judgmental environment conducive to healing and growth.

• A minimum of a master’s degree in counseling, psychology, or a related field is required.
• Possession of an active and valid Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) license in New Jersey is essential.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills that facilitate connection and rapport-building with clients.
• Proficient in utilizing telehealth platforms and technologies for remote counseling sessions.
• Capacity to customize treatment approaches based on the assessment of each client's needs and preferences.

• Experience working in an outpatient setting, preferably providing mental health counseling to a variety of age groups.
• Familiarity with electronic health record (EHR) systems and documentation processes to streamline administrative tasks.
• Previous experience using methodologies like Trauma-Informed Care or Motivational Interviewing is favorable.
• Established network for referrals to community resources or additional mental health providers.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 75,000 to 90,000 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications.
