This fully remote contract opportunity is ideal for a professional with advanced Applied Epic expertise who enjoys working across technical and business teams to ensure accurate carrier connectivity and seamless data integration.

Job Description

Our client is seeking a highly skilled analyst to serve as the primary resource for carrier interface configuration and support within an Applied Epic environment. This role focuses on implementing and maintaining carrier download functionality, troubleshooting interface issues, supporting agency integration projects, and ensuring accurate data exchange between carrier partners and internal systems. The ideal candidate is technically strong, self-motivated, and comfortable collaborating with cross-functional teams in a remote setting.

Key Responsibilities

  • Configure and maintain carrier download interfaces within Applied Epic for both new implementations and ongoing enhancements.
  • Lead technical efforts related to carrier connectivity during agency integration projects, ensuring successful setup, testing, and deployment.
  • Evaluate interface requirements and recommend configuration improvements that enhance system performance and data accuracy.
  • Execute validation testing, document results, and confirm production readiness before system go-live events.
  • Investigate interface errors and coordinate issue resolution with internal support teams, software vendors, and insurance carrier partners.
  • Create and maintain detailed documentation covering configuration decisions, testing outcomes, project milestones, and operational procedures.
  • Serve as the primary technical resource for carrier interface-related discussions during implementation meetings and project calls.
  • Gather business requirements by collaborating with stakeholders to understand operational needs and translate them into technical solutions.
  • Partner with internal technology teams to develop reporting and interface solutions that support business objectives.
  • Monitor production performance following deployments and provide ongoing support to ensure stable system functionality.
  • Identify opportunities to improve existing processes and contribute ideas that increase efficiency through automation or emerging technologies.

Qualifications

  • Previous experience working as a Carrier Interface Analyst, Epic Download Analyst, or Applied Epic Carrier Download Subject Matter Expert.
  • Advanced knowledge of Applied Epic carrier download configuration, testing, validation, and production support.
  • Demonstrated experience supporting agency integrations within a Property & Casualty insurance environment.
  • Strong understanding of carrier interface troubleshooting, mapping, and data integration processes.
  • Excellent documentation skills with the ability to clearly communicate technical information and project status.
  • Proven ability to work independently while managing multiple priorities in a remote environment.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills with experience collaborating across business, operations, technical, and vendor teams.
  • Interest in leveraging AI and automation tools to improve workflows is a plus.
