Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough assessments and evaluations to gain insight into each client's mental health needs, leading to the development of practical and personalized treatment plans.
• Provide individual therapy utilizing various evidence-based techniques, adapting approaches to suit the diverse needs of clients.
• Set specific therapeutic goals in collaboration with clients and regularly monitor their progress to ensure effective treatment outcomes.
• Offer teletherapy sessions for clients preferring virtual appointments, ensuring accessibility for all individuals regardless of location or mobility challenges.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The clients you will serve at Gotham Enterprises come from diverse backgrounds, each presenting unique challenges, including anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and trauma history. As a Licensed Mental Health Counselor, your role will require you to empathize with their experiences, helping clients work through their concerns in a non-judgmental environment.

Qualifications

• A current and valid license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Doctor of Psychology (PsyD) is mandatory.
• A master’s or doctoral degree in Social Work, Marriage and Family Therapy, Mental Health Counseling, or Psychology is required.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills are essential, enabling you to develop trusting and supportive relationships with clients.
• Demonstrated empathy, compassion, and a non-judgmental approach when engaging with clients from various backgrounds.
• Strong organizational abilities are needed to manage your caseload effectively while performing administrative tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience

• A minimum of two years of post-licensure experience as a mental health counselor or therapist, working with a diverse clientele.
• Experience with telehealth practices is preferred, particularly with platforms used to conduct remote therapy sessions.
• Familiarity with documentation processes as mandated by regulatory bodies and adherence to ethical standards in clinical practice.

• Competitive annual salary ranging from USD 80,000 to 100,000, commensurate with experience and number of clients served.
