• Conduct secure and confidential remote therapy sessions with individuals, couples, and families using advanced telehealth technology, fostering a trusting therapeutic relationship.
• Perform thorough and comprehensive assessments to understand the complex interplays of clients' relational dynamics, mental health concerns, and family contexts. Develop tailored, evidence-based treatment plans with measurable goals for each client.
• Utilize family systems theory and systemic interventions to effectively address communication issues and family stressors, applying specific methodologies that fit individual client situations.
• Provide immediate support and crisis intervention as necessary, actively ensuring the safety and well-being of clients and families during challenging moments.
• Maintain precise and confidential electronic client records, progress notes, and treatment plans in alignment with legal, ethical, and organizational standards.
• Empower clients by educating them on effective communication, conflict resolution strategies, and coping mechanisms to enhance their interpersonal relationships.
• Collaborate with a virtual team of therapists and mental health professionals, participating in case consultations and interdisciplinary meetings to ensure comprehensive care for clients.
• Engage in ongoing professional development and stay updated on the latest research and best practices in marriage and family therapy, incorporating newfound knowledge into client care.

As a Remote Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your client base will span individuals, couples, and families seeking assistance with a variety of issues including relationship conflicts, family dynamics, communication barriers, and mental health disorders. You will have the opportunity to support clients from different cultural backgrounds and experiences, tailoring your therapeutic approach to meet their specific needs and preferences.

• Possess a valid and current license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) in New York, or the state where you directly practice.
• Have earned a Master's degree or higher in Marriage and Family Therapy or a closely related field.
• Bring at least two years of practical experience in a related therapeutic setting.
• While experience in providing remote therapy services is preferred, it is not a strict requirement.
• Exhibit strong interpersonal and communication skills to effectively engage with clients through virtual interactions.
• Demonstrate a deep commitment to ethical and confidential therapeutic practices.
• Be self-motivated and capable of working independently in a remote environment.
• Possess flexibility in scheduling to accommodate clients potentially residing in different time zones.

• Experience with telehealth platforms and familiarity with best practices for remote therapy.
• Knowledge of culturally competent therapy practices, particularly related to the diverse populations served.
• Previous experience in crisis intervention and immediate mental health support.

We offer a competitive salary range of USD 70,000 – 90,000 yearly, commensurate with your experience and qualifications.
