This full-time position offers the opportunity to provide effective mental health services to our diverse patient population while enjoying the flexibility of working from home. Candidates can expect to earn an annual salary in the range of USD 90,000 to 135,000, depending on experience and qualifications.

Work Environment

This role functions entirely in a telehealth environment, which allows for flexibility in scheduling and eliminates travel requirements. Key Responsibilities
  • Supervise clinical care for patients, demonstrating proficiency in mental health evaluations and treatment planning.
  • Conduct individual and group therapy sessions tailored to the unique needs of each client, utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques.
  • Perform comprehensive assessments and document treatment logs, ensuring compliance with legal and ethical standards.
  • Maintain a diverse caseload, providing targeted support for clients with various psychological needs, including anxiety, depression, trauma, and more.
  • Collaborate effectively with patients and their families to create and implement resolution plans that promote positive mental health outcomes.
  • Address crisis situations with advanced counseling skills, ensuring that appropriate interventions are administered promptly.
  • Evaluate and re-assess the needs of patients regularly to adjust treatment plans based on progress and evolving circumstances.
Patient Population / Client Focus

The Mental Health Counselor will primarily provide services to adults and adolescents facing a range of psychological challenges. This includes individuals dealing with clinical diagnoses as well as those navigating day-to-day mental health issues. Through empathy and a personalized approach, you will ensure that every client receives the highest quality of care tailored to their specific circumstances and needs.

Qualifications
  • A Master's or Doctoral degree in Psychology, Social Work, or Counseling is required.
  • A minimum of two years of demonstrated experience in a clinical setting is essential.
  • Valid licensure as a Mental Health Counselor (LMHC), Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or a doctorate in psychology (PsyD) is mandatory.
Preferred Experience
  • Experience in telehealth environments is preferred, although not mandatory.
  • Familiarity with evidence-based treatment modalities, such as CBT, DBT, or EMDR, is a plus.
  • Experience working with diverse populations is advantageous.
Compensation and Benefits
  • Starting compensation ranges from USD 90,000 to 135,000 annually, commensurate with experience.
