Key Responsibilities

• Conduct engaging virtual therapy sessions tailored to the needs of individuals and groups, ensuring a safe and supportive environment for discussion and exploration.
• Collaborate in the design and monitoring of individualized treatment plans that reflect the specific needs and goals of clients, utilizing evidence-based approaches.
• Work closely with a multidisciplinary remote team, including teachers and school administrators, to coordinate care and provide comprehensive support to clients.
• Maintain meticulous and confidential documentation of client interactions, progress notes, and treatment plans in accordance with ethical and legal standards.

Patient Population / Client Focus

Your primary focus will be on children and adolescents within school settings, providing mental health support for issues such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and behavioral disorders. You will work with families to create a holistic support system that extends beyond individual therapy, fostering a collaborative and inclusive approach to mental health.

Qualifications

• A Master's degree in Social Work from an accredited program is required.
• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in Massachusetts is mandatory.
• At least two years of post-licensure experience in a clinical mental health setting, preferably with a focus on school-based services.
• Proven ability to conduct diagnostic evaluations and develop effective treatment plans tailored to individual client needs.

• Experience working in a school or educational setting, with insights into the unique challenges faced by students and families.
• Strong understanding of trauma-informed care principles and commitment to ethical, inclusive, and client-centered practice.
• Proficiency in virtual counseling platforms and electronic health record systems.

Compensation and Benefits

Health First Counseling, LLC offers a competitive salary range of $70,000 - $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. In addition to a competitive salary, we provide a comprehensive benefits package including:
