Work Environment

This fully remote position allows clinical social workers to engage with clients across Massachusetts from their own home office. As part of the detox center team, you will be integral in ensuring clients receive empathetic, effective treatment tailored to their specific needs.

Key Responsibilities

• Facilitate virtual therapy sessions for individuals and groups, utilizing relevant therapeutic modalities to engage clients effectively.
• Design and execute personalized treatment plans that consider each client’s unique circumstances and foster their recovery process.
• Work collaboratively with a multidisciplinary team to monitor client progress and make necessary adjustments to treatment plans, attending regular virtual team meetings.
• Maintain meticulous clinical documentation in compliance with state regulations and organizational standards, ensuring accurate and timely record-keeping.
• Implement evidence-based practices in therapy delivery and support clients through crisis intervention as needed, contributing to the detox center's comprehensive care model.

Patient Population / Client Focus

The primary focus of this role is on clients who are seeking detoxification and recovery support. You will work with a diverse clientele, including individuals from various backgrounds and with different mental health challenges, primarily substance use disorders. This role requires a culturally sensitive approach, understanding the unique obstacles faced by marginalized populations in accessing mental health services.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• An active Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years of professional experience post-licensure, specifically within a mental health or substance use treatment framework.
• Demonstrated proficiency in conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and delivering therapeutic interventions.
• Strong commitment to providing ethical, inclusive, and culturally competent care, with an awareness of the current social determinants affecting mental health.

Preferred Experience

• Experience working in a detoxification center or similar therapeutic setting.
• Familiarity with telehealth platforms and virtual therapy techniques.
• Knowledge of relevant legislation and regulatory requirements governing mental health practices in Massachusetts.
• Trauma-informed care training or certifications are considered an asset.

Compensation and Benefits

We offer a competitive salary ranging from $70,000 to $90,000 per year, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Our benefits package includes:
