Position Overview

Health First Counseling, LLC is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) to join our team in a full-time, remote capacity. Work Environment

In this fully remote role, you will engage with clients from the comfort of your own home, utilizing state-of-the-art telehealth platforms. Our remote infrastructure supports seamless communication and interaction with clients as well as collaboration with team members. You will be part of a cohesive virtual team comprising fellow social workers, licensed therapists, and administrative staff, all dedicated to providing exceptional care.

Key Responsibilities

• Conduct virtual individual and group therapy sessions, employing therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and trauma-informed care strategies.
• Assess client needs through thorough evaluations and continuously develop and adjust personalized treatment plans based on ongoing assessments and feedback.
• Collaborate closely with multidisciplinary team members to ensure comprehensive quality care is delivered, sharing effective strategies and patient progress regularly.
• Maintain detailed and confidential documentation of patient interactions, treatment plans, and progress notes in compliance with HIPAA regulations.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, ensuring timely and effective support for clients in acute distress.

Patient Population / Client Focus

This role primarily supports individuals and families experiencing difficulties related to mental health and end-of-life issues, particularly within a hospice context. As a LICSW, your expertise will help clients manage grief, chronic illness, and emotional turmoil, fostering resilience and coping mechanisms during challenging times.

Qualifications

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A current Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) license in the state of Massachusetts.
• A minimum of two years of clinical experience following licensure, encompassing direct client engagement and therapeutic intervention.
• Proficiency in conducting diagnostic evaluations and formulating comprehensive treatment plans.
• A strong commitment to providing ethical, compassionate, and culturally responsive care.

Preferred Experience

• Experience in hospice and palliative care settings, understanding the nuances of end-of-life issues.
• Familiarity with teletherapy best practices and relevant technological platforms.
• Advanced skills in group therapy and facilitation.

Compensation and Benefits
