Does Disneyland hire registered Nurses?

Disneyland, as a theme park, typically does not hire registered nurses directly. However, healthcare professionals such as RNs may be employed through contracted medical providers or for specialized medical roles within the park's medical facilities. Certification in CPR and first aid is often required for medical staff working at large entertainment venues.

What are the key skills and qualifications needed to thrive as a Remote Registered Nurse for Disneyland, and why are they important?

A Remote Registered Nurse supporting Disneyland requires strong clinical assessment skills, a current RN license, and experience in telehealth or remote care environments. Familiarity with telemedicine platforms, electronic health records (EHRs), and secure communication systems is essential. Excellent communication, problem-solving abilities, and empathy help nurses effectively support patients and coordinate care remotely. These skills and qualifications ensure timely, high-quality healthcare delivery while maintaining guest and employee well-being in a unique, fast-paced setting.

What is a Remote Disneyland RN?

A Remote Disneyland RN is a registered nurse who provides healthcare support and guidance related to Disneyland, but works remotely rather than on-site at the park. These nurses may assist with telehealth services, provide medical advice to guests or employees, and help coordinate care for individuals planning to visit Disneyland. Their role can also include managing documentation, supporting health protocols, and offering education on health and safety measures relevant to the Disneyland environment.

How much do Disney remote jobs pay?

Remote Disneyland RNs typically earn between $70,000 and $90,000 annually, depending on experience and location. Compensation may also include benefits such as health insurance and flexible scheduling, with some roles offering hourly wages around $30 to $45. Salaries can vary based on certifications and specific job responsibilities within the remote healthcare support environment.

What are some common challenges faced by Remote Disneyland RNs, and how can they effectively address them?

Remote Disneyland RNs often face the challenge of providing virtual care and guidance to guests and cast members who are not physically present. This requires excellent communication skills to assess health concerns accurately over the phone or video. Additionally, coordinating with on-site medical staff and understanding park protocols is essential. Building strong relationships with both remote and on-site teams helps ensure seamless patient care and quick response to emergencies. Staying updated on Disneyland-specific health and safety guidelines also enhances effectiveness in this unique environment.

How much do RNs make at Disneyland?

Registered Nurses (RNs) working at Disneyland typically earn between $70,000 and $85,000 annually, depending on experience and location. They may also receive benefits such as health insurance and flexible scheduling, often working in a healthcare or first aid setting within the park.

How to make $80,000 a year working from home?

A remote Disneyland RN can potentially earn $80,000 annually by gaining specialized certifications, gaining experience, and working full-time or taking on multiple shifts. Developing strong clinical skills and utilizing telehealth platforms can also increase earning potential. Consistent scheduling and excellent patient care are essential for higher compensation in remote nursing roles.

Job description

About Tia

Tia is building a new model for women's healthcare, one that treats women as whole people, not separate conditions or life stages. By integrating primary care, mental health, gynecology, dermatology, and wellness across both in-person and virtual settings, Tia is improving outcomes, lowering costs, and creating a better experience for patients and providers alike.

About the Role

We're hiring a Clinical Operations Senior Manager, RN to help build, lead, and improve the systems that support Tia's registered nursing and clinical operations functions.

This role is ideal for an experienced RN leader who loves both people and process: supporting clinical teams, improving workflows, using data to drive performance, and building scalable operations that help deliver high-quality, patient-centered care.

You'll partner closely with RN leadership, clinical leads, care delivery, product, and operations teams to strengthen how care is delivered across Tia's virtual and in-person care model.

Why Tia
  • Opportunity to help shape and scale a new model of women's healthcare
  • Remote corporate role with meaningful impact across multiple markets.
  • Collaborative clinical and operational teams focused on improving care delivery
  • A mission-driven environment that values both patient and provider experience
  • Competitive salary plus performance-based bonus
  • Licensing reimbursement, clinical education resources, and ongoing training opportunities

What You'll Do
  • RN Operations Leadership: Provide operational leadership for Tia's RN function, partnering with clinical leads to ensure consistent, high-quality nursing practice across Tia's virtual and in-person care model.
  • Workflow & Process Improvement: Build and improve clinical workflows, SOPs, onboarding processes, training programs, and competency structures that support scalable RN team performance.
  • Performance Management: Monitor staffing, scheduling coverage, queue performance, utilization, quality, and operational metrics to identify trends, resolve gaps, and improve execution.
  • Quality & Compliance: Support clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory compliance, and continuous improvement across RN and clinical operations workflows.
  • Cross-Functional Partnership: Partner with Product, Care Coordination, Clinical Care Delivery, and Operations teams to align clinical workflows with broader company goals and care delivery needs.
  • Team Accountability: Create clear role expectations, operating rhythms, metrics, and feedback loops that support a high-ownership, high-accountability RN team.
  • Player-Coach Support: Spend a portion of time delivering asynchronous nursing care as needed to stay close to workflows, understand team needs, and support patient care.

What You'll Bring

Requirements:

  • Active, unrestricted RN license in California or New York required, with ability and willingness to obtain additional state licenses as needed. Licensure in both CA and NY, or in additional Tia markets such as AZ, is strongly preferred.
  • 5+ years of nursing experience, including experience in clinical operations, team leadership, workflow improvement, training, quality, or performance management.
  • Experience supporting or leading RN, MA, care coordination, virtual care, ambulatory care, or similar clinical teams.
  • Strong ability to build and improve clinical workflows, SOPs, onboarding processes, training materials, competency structures, and performance management tools.
  • Working knowledge of clinical quality, patient safety, regulatory requirements, documentation standards, and healthcare compliance expectations.
  • Comfort using dashboards, metrics, and operational data to identify trends, solve problems, improve execution, and support team accountability.
  • Strong cross-functional communication skills, with the ability to partner across clinical, operations, product, care delivery, and support teams.
  • A hands-on, accountable leadership style and a desire to build structure in a fast-moving, mission-driven environment.

  • Performance-based bonus
  • Medical, dental, and vision benefits effective day one
