Best Care Psychological and Counseling Center is seeking dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselors to join our remote team. • Conduct thorough mental health assessments, including psychosocial evaluations, diagnostic interviews, and comprehensive risk assessments to identify client needs.
• Develop personalized treatment plans in collaboration with clients, integrating their specific goals, preferences, and cultural contexts.
• Deliver evidence-based therapeutic interventions, such as cognitive-behavioral therapy (CBT), dialectical behavior therapy (DBT), and solution-focused brief therapy (SFBT), in various settings including individual, couple, family, and group therapy.
• Provide crisis intervention services when necessary, working closely with other healthcare professionals to ensure a cohesive approach to care for clients experiencing acute distress.
• Maintain accurate and current clinical documentation aligned with clinic policies and regulatory standards, including progress notes, treatment plans, and discharge summaries.
• Educate clients and their families about mental health conditions, equipping them with coping strategies and resources for better management.
• Partner with a multidisciplinary team consisting of psychiatrists, psychologists, nursing staff, and case managers to coordinate holistic care for clients.
• Regularly assess treatment effectiveness through outcome measures and adjust plans to enhance client progress.
• Stay abreast of the latest research, best practices, and emerging trends in the mental health field, integrating this knowledge into your practice.
• Uphold the highest standards of ethical practice and maintain client confidentiality.

Your work will primarily focus on a diverse patient population, including individuals dealing with trauma, anxiety, depression, relationship issues, and other mental health conditions. You will have the opportunity to provide a safe space for clients to explore their feelings and foster resilience, ensuring they feel heard and supported throughout their therapeutic journey.

• Possession of a Master’s or Doctoral degree in Social Work, Mental Health Counseling, Psychology, or Marriage and Family Therapy from an accredited institution.
• A current and valid license as an LCMFT, LMFT, LCPC, or LCSW-C in the state of Maryland.
• Ability to work independently, as well as collaboratively, within a multidisciplinary team environment.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills that facilitate strong rapport with clients from various cultural backgrounds.

• A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a mental health setting, demonstrating your capacity to handle a range of mental health concerns.
• Experience with trauma-informed care practices and evidence-based interventions, particularly CBT and DBT.
• Familiarity with electronic health record systems to maintain comprehensive clinical documentation.

The annual salary for this position ranges from $70,000 to $84,000, depending on factors such as geographic location, work experience, education, and skill level. In addition to a competitive salary, we offer comprehensive benefits, including:
