This is a customer-facing role where you will shape how organizations understand and realize value from Nearmap's technology. Beyond supporting pre-sales engagements, you will also lead post-sales value realization efforts, helping customers quantify results, drive adoption, and uncover new opportunities for expansion. As a trusted advisor to both customers and internal teams, you'll play a key role in scaling value-based selling across the organization while influencing product and go-to-market strategy through insights gained directly from the field. It's a unique opportunity to combine analytical rigor, executive storytelling, and customer partnership to drive meaningful business impact.
About You
  • Strategic and analytically minded - able to translate complex product capabilities into clear business outcomes and quantify impact through ROI and financial modeling
  • Experienced in value-based selling or consulting - brings a strong background in helping enterprise customers understand, measure, and realize the value of technology investments.
  • Executive communicator - comfortable leading discussions with senior stakeholders and presenting compelling, data-backed business cases to C-level audiences.
  • Customer-centric problem solver - naturally curious and skilled at uncovering customer challenges, identifying high-impact use cases, and aligning solutions to strategic business priorities.
  • Cross-functional collaborator - thrives in partnership with Sales, Customer Success, Product, and Marketing to drive adoption, renewals, and expansion opportunities.
  • Structured and data-driven - experienced in building frameworks, value benchmarks, and repeatable methodologies that scale across teams.
  • Industry-aware - familiarity with SaaS environments and ideally the P&C insurance ecosystem, with an understanding of how technology drives operational efficiency and risk management.
  • Comfortable in fast-growing environments - excited to build, refine, and scale value consulting practices within a high-growth, globally expanding company.

Key Responsibilities
Value Discovery
  • Drive strategic discovery sessions with senior stakeholders to identify high impact use cases
  • Quantify business value and build financial impact models, including ROI analysis
  • Develop and deliver persuasive business cases tailored to executive audiences

Value Realization
  • Lead post-sales assessments to validate realized value and communicate ROI
  • Identify and promote customer best practices that drive adoption and maximize impact
  • Support QBRs with value benchmarking tools and assessment frameworks

Thought Leadership
  • Develop and scale value selling methodologies across customer-facing teams
  • Act as a subject matter expert in articulating business impact and communicating ROI
  • Influence product strategy and support go-to-market alignment through insights and collaboration

Compliance with Nearmap values, policies and standards, and ensure compliance with all local statutory requirements.
  • Adhere to company guidelines and the corporate Code of Conduct
  • Act in an ethical way when dealing with company assets and other people

  • 3+ years in consulting roles focused on delivering enterprise value
  • Proven success in driving value-based selling in SaaS or consulting

  • Advanced problem-solving and quantitative analysis skills
  • Effective verbal and written communication
  • Strong time management and prioritization capabilities
