DescriptionSummaryHuntington Bank is seeking a Technical Recovery Senior Consultant to join our Enterprise Resilience team. The Senior Consultant assists in developing, implementing, and maintaining strategies and standards, processes, and procedures for ensuring integrity and availability of Huntington's data, systems, technologies, and critical business functions. The incumbent participates in risk management analysis and assists with the creation of business continuity and disaster recovery plans. Works with business representatives, service owners, and IT teams to develop and execute testing processes to validate recovery plans and the overall resilience capabilities of the organizations. Manages a repository of business continuity, disaster recovery, and resilience material including plans and documentation that will be accessible in the event of service interruption or disaster.Duties and Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with business and IT teams to develop technical recovery strategies for applications and infrastructure to achieve resilience in accordance with FFIEC guidelines.
  • Consult and provide guidance to application teams, infrastructure teams, and architects to align current and future technologies with enterprise resilience controls, standards, and strategies.
  • Collaborate and consult with business and IT teams on development of business continuity plans, technical recovery plans and other enterprise resilience documentation. Review and evaluate plans against standards for quality, provide feedback for operational improvement and alignment with standards.
  • Collaborate with peers, information security, and first line of defense in the review and development of standards and recommendations for policies to meet FFIEC guidelines and enterprise resilience objectives.
  • Support development and delivery of monthly Key Performance Indicators (KPI's) and measures related to technical recovery, business continuity, and enterprise resilience.
  • Develop and deliver awareness and training programs (including online training content) to staff on technical recovery, business continuity, and enterprise resilience topics.
  • Support annual technical recovery and business continuity testing and test documentation.
  • Collaborate with business partners and IT on the annual business impact analysis (BIA) process and risk analysis.
  • Collaborate with information security team and first line of defense on key risk indicators, tracking of risks and gaps, and risk analysis.
  • Support responses to customer requests, audits, and maintenance of documents related to enterprise resilience.
  • This role has an on-call component and will potentially require colleague to participate in a 7/24/365 on-call or shift rotation(s) which could include occasional working weekends, off hours, and holidays
Basic Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience
  • 10+ years of related experience in Disaster Recovery, Business Continuity and Resilience Programs, or related disciplines
Preferred Qualifications
  • Knowledge of cloud and on-premises disaster recovery, ransomware, and business resumption technologies, processes and practices.
  • Ability to work under stressful conditions, such as tight time deadlines and business-related crises.
  • Ability to negotiate win-win agreements with stakeholders in complex situations.
  • Agile project management knowledge and experience.
  • Certification as a Certified Business Continuity Professional (CBCP) or Member of the Business Continuity Institute (MBCI).
  • Experience developing online training content.
  • Master's Degree

Compensation Range:

$70000-$140000 Annual Salary

The compensation range represents the anticipated low and high end of the base compensation range for this position. Actual compensation will vary based on various factors including but not limited to location, experience, and education. Colleagues in this position are also eligible to participate in an applicable incentive compensation plan. In addition, Huntington provides a variety of benefits to colleagues, including health insurance coverage, wellness program, life and disability insurance, retirement savings plan, paid leave programs, paid holidays and paid time off (PTO).
