This role will be based remotely, giving you the flexibility to manage your work-life balance while delivering essential mental health services to a wide range of clients from the comfort of your home or a designated outpatient office. • Assess and evaluate the mental health needs of clients to develop individualized treatment plans tailored to their unique circumstances.
• Utilize a variety of therapeutic modalities to deliver outpatient psychotherapy services to individuals, couples, families, and groups, ensuring therapeutic goals are met.
• Collaborate with support staff and external resources, including community organizations, to facilitate comprehensive care and referrals for clients and their families.
• Maintain meticulous case records, including intake summaries and treatment progress notes, ensuring compliance with state and NCQA regulations.
• Provide guidance and instruction on treatment compliance, medication regimens, and behavioral modifications for patients and their family members.
• Participate in multidisciplinary team meetings to discuss patient treatment plans and outcomes, fostering a culture of shared knowledge and best practices.
• Assist in the development and execution of outreach programs and psychoeducational classes to engage the community and promote mental health awareness.
• Supervise associate-level clinicians, if required, contributing to their professional growth and enhancement of clinical skills.
• Respond to emergency situations and report safety concerns in compliance with mandated reporting obligations.

This role focuses on providing mental health services to a diverse population of clients, ranging from children and adolescents to adults experiencing various mental health issues. As a counselor, you will work with individuals dealing with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other psychological challenges, helping them navigate their journeys toward improved mental wellness.

• A valid California license as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT), or Licensed Professional Clinical Counselor (LPCC).
• A master’s degree in a related behavioral science field from an accredited college or university.
• Strong understanding of regulatory standards, policies, and procedures applicable to mental health care, ensuring optimal patient confidentiality and quality of care.
• Proven experience in delivering clinical assessment, psychotherapy, and case management services, ideally within an outpatient setting.

• Experience working with culturally diverse populations and a strong commitment to cultural competency in therapeutic practices.
• Training in evidence-based therapeutic techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), or similar modalities.
• Ability to effectively manage caseloads and prioritize tasks while maintaining a compassionate approach to patient care.
