• Conduct thorough clinical assessments to evaluate client needs and establish tailored treatment plans using evidence-based practices.
• Implement therapeutic interventions grounded in solution-focused techniques, addressing individual complexities and fostering client resilience.
• Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in compliance with industry regulations and organizational policies.
• Collaborate closely with a team of mental health professionals, including psychiatrists and counselors, to ensure coordinated and holistic patient care.
• Participate in case consultations and peer review meetings aimed at elevating standards of care and enhancing treatment outcomes.
• Provide education and support to patients and their families, equipping them with the knowledge and resources necessary to navigate mental health challenges.
• Engage in continuous professional development, staying current with the latest research and methodologies to deliver optimal care.

As an LCSW at Astor Youth & Families Services, you will work with a diverse patient population, including children, adolescents, and families facing a wide array of mental health issues. The focus will be on providing compassionate care while addressing challenges such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders. This role is particularly vital in our Detox Center, where you will help clients transition to recovery and reintegrate into their communities.

• A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• A valid LCSW license in the state of Texas.
• A minimum of three years of clinical experience with a specialization in psychotherapy.
• Strong proficiency in solution-based therapeutic interventions and methodologies.
• Excellent communication skills to foster meaningful interactions with clients and team members.
• Ability to thrive in a collaborative, team-centered environment where shared goals are prioritized.

• Experience working in addiction treatment, particularly in detox settings or similar environments.
• Training in trauma-informed care and various therapeutic modalities including CBT, DBT, or EMDR.
• Demonstrated ability to effectively manage a busy caseload while maintaining high standards of care.
