Position Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Mental Health Counselor to join our team at Braver Perspective, LLC. Key Responsibilities
  • Conduct thorough diagnostic assessments and develop individualized treatment plans for clients.
  • Implement evidence-based therapeutic modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), Motivational Interviewing (MI), Interpersonal Therapy (IPT), and psychodynamic therapy.
  • Provide regular follow-up treatments, including weekly or biweekly sessions, to monitor client progress and adjust treatment approaches as necessary.
  • Utilize electronic medical record (EMR) systems and remote communication technology to maintain accurate documentation and facilitate seamless client interactions.
  • Collaborate with case management teams to coordinate care and support for clients with complex needs.
  • Manage crisis situations with professionalism, providing immediate support and intervention as required.
  • Adapt therapeutic approaches to align with patient preferences and responses, tailoring your methods to ensure each client receives personalized care.
Patient Population / Client Focus

Your role will involve working with a diverse population, including individuals experiencing mental health challenges such as Major Depressive Disorder (MDD), Attention-Deficit/Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), anxiety disorders, Post-Traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD), trauma, and grief. Qualifications
  • A Masterโ€™s degree in Psychology, Counseling, Social Work, or a related field is required.
  • Possession of an active state license (LMHC, LMFT, or LICSW) following state regulations.
  • Proven experience with a variety of psychotherapy modalities and a comprehensive understanding of mental health disorders and diagnoses.
  • A strong commitment to providing compassionate care without judgment.

Preferred Experience
  • A minimum of two years of clinical experience in a community mental health setting is preferred.
