About the role

As a Director, AI & Startups and Business Development at Cast AI, you are a strategic and results-driven sales leader with experience in building, scaling, and optimizing outbound sales teams within Cloud SaaS industries. As Cast AI continues its rapid growth, we are looking for a dynamic leader to develop and mentor a high-performing AI & StartUps sales team, as well as the BDR team supporting Enterprise Sales.

Requirements:
  • Proven experience in leading Sales teams, with a track record of exceeding pipeline goals.
  • 5+ years of experience in sales/sales development, with at least 2+ years in a leadership role.
  • Expertise in opportunity assessment, value discovery, and outbound prospecting.
  • Strong understanding of MEDDIC methodology and its application in pipeline qualification.
  • Ability to identify key contacts, craft compelling outreach, and drive engagement.
  • Deep passion for outbound prospecting and sales process optimization.
  • Experience in Kubernetes, cloud sales, or DevOps is a strong plus.
Responsibilities:
  • Leading and coaching a team of AEs and BDRs to drive pipeline growth.
  • Developing and optimizing outbound sales strategies.
  • Implementing and refining qualification frameworks to ensure high-quality leads.
  • Monitoring performance metrics and continuously improving outreach efficiency.
  • Collaborating with sales and marketing to enhance lead generation.
