This position offers a fully remote work environment, allowing Mental Health Counselors to engage with clients through a secure telehealth platform. • Conduct thorough assessments and develop individualized treatment plans that encompass pre-crisis and crisis interventions, behavioral guidelines, risk assessments, and medication treatment strategies.
• Efficiently complete all required documentation in accordance with regulatory standards, ensuring accuracy and timeliness in reporting.
• Utilize evidence-based screening tools and methodologies as recommended by our clinical team to enhance patient care and outcomes.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams to create and implement positive behavior support plans, fostering a cohesive approach to client management.
• Actively participate in the agency's licensing and accreditation processes to uphold the highest standards of service delivery.
• Serve as a vital liaison between clients, community partners, and service systems, facilitating access to necessary resources and interventions.
• Maintain effective communication channels to meet contract standards and reinforce the mission of Alvita within Spokane and surrounding regions.
• Establish and nurture relationships with local, state, federal, and private agencies to promote programs, explore funding opportunities, and strengthen community ties.
• Engage in ongoing professional development activities, such as attending conferences and workshops, to enhance expertise and innovate service delivery.
• Uphold and advocate for the agency's mission, values, and principles in all interactions and initiatives.
• Perform additional duties as directed by the Clinic Director to support the overall objectives of the organization.

As an LMHC at Alvita Counseling Center, you will work with a diverse patient population that includes individuals grappling with emotional distress, substance use disorders, developmental disabilities, and clients recovering from brain injuries. Your ability to tailor therapeutic approaches to meet each client's unique needs will be essential in fostering positive relationships and facilitating their recovery journeys. • A Master’s Degree in a relevant mental health field.
• Possession of an independent LMHC license, allowing you to provide clinical services without supervision.
