• Provide evidence-based psychotherapy and mental health services to a diverse patient base, addressing conditions such as anxiety, depression, trauma, and substance use disorders.
• Conduct detailed assessments of each patient's mental health status, considering emotional, behavioral, and social functions, to formulate personalized treatment plans.
• Develop and implement tailored treatment plans that are culturally competent and reflect best practices in mental health care.
• Regularly monitor patient progress, making adjustments to treatment plans as needed based on clinical assessments and patient feedback.
• Educate patients and their families on mental health conditions, potential treatment options, and available community resources, fostering a supportive environment.
• Ensure adherence to ethical and professional standards throughout all interactions, including maintaining confidentiality and obtaining informed consent from patients.

Your work will primarily focus on patients undergoing detoxification and experiencing a range of mental health issues. This environment requires not only clinical expertise but also empathy and understanding of the complexities and challenges faced by individuals battling addiction and co-occurring disorders. • A Master’s degree in Social Work from an accredited institution.
• Current state licensure as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) in Virginia.
• A minimum of two years’ experience in providing psychotherapy and mental health services, specifically within detox or rehabilitation environments.
• Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills to effectively build trusting relationships with patients and collaborate with multidisciplinary teams.
• Demonstrated clinical competencies, including thorough assessment techniques and familiarity with evidence-based treatment methodologies.
• Familiarity with electronic health records (EHRs) and other relevant healthcare software to manage patient documentation and enhance care coordination.
• Comprehensive understanding of mental health conditions, including substance use disorders, and the unique challenges patients face in recovery.
• Commitment to maintaining patient confidentiality and adhering to ethical practice standards.

• Experience working in a remote healthcare environment.
• Familiarity with trauma-informed care approaches and specific interventions suitable for individuals with mental health and substance use challenges.
