As a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist, your day-to-day responsibilities will include:

• Conducting thorough assessments of clients, which involves an initial intake to understand their challenges and treatment goals.
• Facilitating therapy sessions with couples, where you will work both with them together and individually to address underlying issues.
• Utilizing evidence-based therapeutic techniques to support clients through various challenges such as alcohol abuse, conflicts among family members, and the process of separation and divorce.
• Creating tailored therapy plans that are responsive to the needs of each family member, while regularly evaluating and adjusting these plans based on progress.
• Providing crisis management and intervention when necessary, to ensure clients receive immediate support during critical moments.
• Documenting client progress and treatment outcomes in a secure, digital management system to comply with best practices and legal standards.
• Collaborating with other healthcare professionals when necessary, to provide a comprehensive approach to health and well-being.

Your primary focus will be on a diverse client population that includes individuals, couples, and families experiencing a range of emotional and psychological issues. This encompasses challenges such as grief and loss, job-related stress, medical issues, and navigating life transitions. To be considered for this position, candidates should possess the following qualifications:

• A valid and active state license as a Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT).
• A Master’s degree in Marriage and Family Therapy or a related mental health field.

A minimum of one year of relevant clinical experience in a therapeutic setting is required. Preference will be given to candidates who have demonstrated a commitment to ongoing professional development and have experience working with a variety of presenting issues.
