Job description

The Digital Content Designer is responsible for supporting Coinstar's marketing, customer engagement, and business objectives through the development and execution of digital-first creative assets across web, email, paid media, app, retail, and customer communication channels. This role supports multimedia content creation, digital campaign execution, motion graphics, and broader marketing design needs to help drive customer engagement, brand consistency, and operational efficiency across the organization.
Key Responsibilities
  • Design and produce digital marketing assets across paid media, email, website, app, social, and retail channels.
  • Develop multimedia content including lightweight motion graphics, animations, GIFs, and short-form video assets for customer engagement and marketing campaigns.
  • Create and adapt creative assets across multiple digital formats and channels while maintaining brand consistency.
  • Support development of email templates, landing page creative, and digital customer communication assets.
  • Design kiosk graphics, promotional creative, and retail marketing materials to support customer-facing initiatives.
  • Collaborate cross-functionally with Marketing, Product, CX, Retail, and external partners to execute creative projects and campaigns.
  • Support creative testing initiatives by developing asset variations for digital campaign optimization.
  • Maintain organized creative files, templates, and asset libraries to support scalability and operational efficiency.
  • Manage multiple projects simultaneously while meeting established timelines and business priorities.
  • Support implementation and evolution of Coinstar brand standards across customer-facing touchpoints.

Education & Experience
  • Bachelor's degree in graphic design, digital media, visual communications, marketing, or related field preferred; relevant work experience may be substituted.
  • 3+ years of experience in graphic design, digital content creation, multimedia design, or related creative field.
  • Experience supporting digital marketing campaigns and multi-channel creative execution preferred.
  • Experience creating digital-first creative assets for web, email, paid media, and social channels preferred.
  • Experience with motion graphics, lightweight animation, or video editing preferred.

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite including Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, After Effects, and Premiere Pro.
  • Experience with Figma or similar collaborative design tools preferred.
  • Strong understanding of digital-first design principles and responsive creative formats.
  • Ability to create multimedia and motion-based creative assets for digital engagement campaigns.
  • Strong visual design, typography, layout, and creative problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects and priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong organizational, communication, and collaboration skills.
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively across cross-functional teams.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to maintaining brand consistency across channels.

Location and Travel Expectations
  • This position requires limited business travel.

Pay and Benefits
The typical starting pay range for this position is between $35.67-$44.59 per hour. Coinstar utilizes geographically based pay ranges, within the United States, which allows us to pay competitively and consistently based on location. Within the range for the applicable geographic area, individual pay is determined by several factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training. Your recruiter can share the salary range specific to your location. Employees in this position have the potential to increase their base pay up to $53.51 per hour which is the max end of the range, based on ongoing demonstrated and continuous performance in the role. Short-Term incentives are a part of the total compensation package and are based on Company and Individual performance.

Physical Requirements
Sedentary work involves remaining in a stationary position most of the time in front of a computer, using a keyboard, mouse and telephone. Regularly operate a computer and other office equipment. Occasionally move about the work site to access file cabinets, office equipment, etc. Exert up to 10 lbs. of force occasionally, and/or a negligible amount of force frequently or regularly move objects.
