About the Role:

We are looking for a Senior Digital Art Director who is passionate about visual storytelling and brand communication in the healthcare and pharmaceutical space. You are an experienced designer who excels at developing strategic creative solutions, driving innovative projects, and mentoring junior designers. You will bring a digital-first mindset and a strong background in managing digital tactics from start to finish - including websites, banner ads, social ads, and emails, among others. A key part of this role involves working fluidly within an established Figma design system, leveraging shared components and style guides to ensure brand consistency across all digital touchpoints, as well as the ability to build and scale a design system from the ground up - including foundational elements such as color palettes, typography, spacing, component libraries, and usage documentation that empower cross-functional teams to work efficiently and cohesively.

This is a remote role and you will report to a VP, Creative Director.

You Will:

  • Lead the creative development of your assigned brands, ensuring work is strategic, innovative, and visually impactful.
  • Master the design hallmarks and branding guidelines of your accounts, applying them consistently across all creative deliverables.
  • Conceptualize and build multi-platform creative work, including digital and social campaigns for both HCP and patient audiences.
  • Collaborate with Copywriters, Art Directors, and Strategy teams, ensuring that messaging and visuals work together seamlessly.
  • Present and defend creative concepts to our teams and clients, expressing the strategic and aesthetic rationale behind your work.
  • Provide mentorship and guidance to junior Art Directors, encouraging their growth and ensuring high-quality output across the team.
  • Stay informed on industry trends and technological advancements, applying them to enhance the quality and effectiveness of creative work.

  • A highly skilled visual communicator, with the ability to translate complex information into engaging, easy-to-understand designs.

  • A pharma advertising professional, you will bring 3+ years of experience in a pharma advertising agency setting.
