Job description

Responsibilities


  • Providing 1:1 nursing care in a private residence setting
  • Advocating for your client's medical needs
  • Provide assistance with ADLs, medication, and medical needs
  • Assure quality care by adhering to standards set by the physicians
  • Provide care education to patients in person or over the phone
  • Meet all documentation requirements in accordance with referral entity
  • Demonstrate effective communication with all members of clients' care team including client, family, physician, and Kailani Care.
  • Maintain all necessary supplies in alignment with client care needs 
  • Adhere to compliance guidelines throughout processes (OSHA, FDA, HIPAA)


Qualifications


  • Must be a Registered Nurse with current licensure in California 
  • CPR/BLS Certification
  • 2+ years experience in healthcare setting strongly preferred
  • Previous experience in ICU, ER, PICU, Med-Surg, Hospice, IVIG, and/or Private-Duty strongly preferred
  • Knowledge of HIPAA compliance
  • Must have reliable transportation, valid driver's license, and minimum state-required auto insurance
  • Excellent oral and written communication and interpersonal skills
  • Basic computer literacy
