Job description

Overview
Amyx is seeking to hire a Deputy Project Manager o support our department of Homeland Security (DHS), Cybersecurity and Infrastructure Security Agency (CISA), Operational Support Services contract in the DC/Metro area.
Responsibilities
The Deputy Project Manager will function as the alternate Project Manager and shall be a single point of contact for the Contracting Officer and the Contracting Officer's Representative (COR). It is anticipated that the Deputy Project Manager shall be one of the senior-level/ subject matter experts provided by the Contractor for this work effort. The Deputy Project Manager shall provide subject matter expertise, program management, program analysis and reporting, documentation, and/or strategic planning and overall management as required to support to the CSD Mission Support Services work effort.
Familiarity with the following policies and protocols is desired:
DHS Management Directive 140-01, "Information Technology Security Program
• DHS National Security Systems Policy Directive 4300A, Version 13.1, July 25, 2017
• DHS National Security Systems Policy Directive 4300B, Version 10.1, November 21, 2018' for NSS Collateral (Unclass, Secret or Top-Secret Collateral).
• 'DHS Sensitive Compartmented Information (SCI) Systems 4300C Instruction Manual, Version 2.1, March 24, 2017' for TS SCI/C-LAN.
Qualifications
Shall have more than ten (10) years of experience including, but not limited to:
1. Providing strategic advice, technical guidance and expertise to program and project staff;
2. Providing detailed analysis, evaluation and recommendations for improvements, optimization development, and/or maintenance efforts for client-specific or mission critical challenges/issues;
3. Consulting with client to define need or problem; and supervising studies and leading surveys to collect and analyze data to provide advice and recommend solutions.
4. Demonstrating an ability to manage a large, matrixed and remote workforce especially if the contract includes sub-contract agreements
5. Active or ability to acquire a DHS Suitability Clearance at the Secret Level.
