Our Municipal team is seeking candidates to fill the position of Civil Engineering Project Manager to serve a varied client base and help expand our Municipal, transportation, and water/sewer sector in the Maine and New Hampshire regions. CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
  • Plan and design a wide range of municipal projects.
  • Marketing - Capital Project Discovery with current and future municipal clients to help build the team's project pipeline.
  • Prepare, review, and manage scope of services, budgets, schedules and subconsultant efforts. Draft and negotiate proposals and agreements for complete projects.
  • Manage multiple projects and delegate tasks to multiple staff.
  • Develops day-to-day schedules for staff and manages project budgets.
  • Independently perform, evaluate, and review engineering calculations and analyze.
  • Prepare and review engineering reports, permit applications, bid documents and other typical written communication.
  • Review and troubleshoot plans, hydrologic and hydraulic models, and calculations.
  • Conduct and prepare concise peer reviews of subdivision and site plan review permit applications submitted to municipal clients for approval.
  • Review, understand, and interpret design guidelines, specifications, ordinances, and rules and regulations associated with municipal projects, including: municipal, state, and federal regulations, DOT design guidelines, and other criteria.
  • Attend and present at design team, client and regulatory review meetings.
  • Interact/communicate with staff, team members, clients, contractors, and regulatory officials.
  • Manage schedules and deliverables to exceed Client expectations.
  • Processes invoices, prepares Contract Amendments, and manages receivables.
  • Receives guidance and supervision relating to overall project objectives, critical issues, new concepts, policy matters and unusual design conditions and developments.

CIVIL ENGINEERING PROJECT MANAGER ESSENTIAL CREDENTIALS:
Required Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in civil engineering.
  • PE Certification.
  • 5+ years of experience.
  • Knowledge of local, state, and federal design standards.
  • Knowledge of state and federal permitting requirements.

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Experience with design and plan production in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, and BlueBeam.
