Job description

We are looking for a Mobile Application Developer with experience in React Native, Swift, and/or Kotlin to help build and maintain the mobile applications that power our direct-to-consumer self-service and customer engagement experiences. This is a fully remote position.
You will be responsible for developing and maintaining features for our iOS and Android applications, building reusable UI components, and collaborating with product, design, and back-end teammates to deliver reliable, well-tested mobile experiences.
  • As a Mobile Application Developer you will help design and build mobile features across iOS and Android, from responsive user interfaces to integrations with back-end services and APIs. You will work closely with cross-functional teams and more experienced engineers to turn business and customer needs into clean, maintainable mobile code.
  • The ideal candidate is an enthusiastic mobile developer with hands-on experience in React Native and/or native iOS (Swift) or Android (Kotlin) development, solid programming fundamentals, and a passion for building fast, reliable, and user-friendly mobile experiences.
 
The responsibilities of this role include, but are not limited to:
  • Develop, test, and maintain features for iOS and Android applications using React Native and/or native code (Swift and/or Kotlin).
  • Build reusable, well-structured UI components that work across platforms.
  • Integrate mobile applications with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs and third-party SDKs.
  • Implement responsive, accessible, and intuitive user interfaces based on designs and specifications.
  • Help optimize application performance, responsiveness, and stability across devices.
  • Support the mobile release process, including builds and submissions to the Apple App Store and Google Play Store.
  • Write clean, testable, and documented code supported by unit and integration tests.
  • Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve issues using crash reporting and analytics tools.
  • Participate in code reviews and follow established mobile engineering standards.
  • Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate wireframes and prototypes into polished screens.
  • Partner with Product, QA, and back-end teammates to plan and deliver features in an Agile environment.
  • Help ensure applications meet security, privacy, and platform compliance requirements.
  • Continuously learn new mobile technologies, frameworks, and best practices.

Qualifications:
  • 1-3 years of mobile application development experience, including internship, academic, or project experience.
  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, a related field, or equivalent practical experience.
  • Hands-on experience with React Native and/or native development in Swift (iOS) or Kotlin (Android).
  • Working knowledge of modern JavaScript/TypeScript and/or a native mobile language.
  • Familiarity with integrating mobile apps with RESTful and/or GraphQL APIs.
  • Understanding of mobile UI/UX principles and responsive design.
  • Exposure to version control (Git) and Agile/Scrum development practices.
  • Strong problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills with attention to detail.
  • Good communication and collaboration skills, and a willingness to learn.
  • Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
