About our Strategic Communications Division:

We Engineer Influence.

In the Strategic Communications Division, we are the global partners for brands that define categories. Our expertise is singular: integrated communications for luxury, ultra-luxury, and lifestyle.

Our methodology isMagic + Math. This means every creative idea is rooted in a business strategy, and every narrative is designed to deliver a commercial outcome. We bring a CMO's focus on growth to the art of storytelling, ensuring our work doesn't just make headlinesit moves key performance indicators. We are the driving force behind the measurable growth in our clients' audience, leads, engagement, and revenue.

We don't just tell stories; we build business cases that captivate.

The Opportunity

We are looking for an Account Supervisor to join our dynamic team and help shape the future of luxury engagement. This role is crafted for a strategic thinker who believes data should inform creativitynot limit it. You'll be responsible for developing and leading strategic communications programs for a portfolio of luxury hospitality and travel clients, serving as the day-to-day client lead while driving earned media strategies that deliver measurable business results. You'll work alongside passionate strategists, creatives, and data specialists to deliver campaigns that are as effective as they are elegant.

What You'll Do

  • Guide the day-to-day strategy and direction for clients and internal teams
  • Drive measurable earned media results
  • Maintain client relationships through meetings, conference calls, ongoing communication, meeting agendas, notes, reports, and other day-to-day account management
  • Write and edit press releases, media alerts, media pitches, annual PR plans and other strategic communication materials; lead press trips as needed
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with journalists, influencers and other key industry contacts
  • Ideate and broker strategic partnerships for creative campaigns with coaching from senior team
  • Develop creative campaign ideas with coaching from senior team; actively participate in team and agency brainstorms
  • Recommend and implement strategic programs and partnerships on an ongoing basis, often tied to the news cycle
  • Support development of strategic communications programs around major project milestones, executive thought leadership, leasing activity, sales momentum and destination positioning
  • Stay on top of current industry news, media trends and emerging technologies; attend events and build industry relationships
  • Oversee account work for 1-3 team members (ranging from account coordinators to account executives), providing training, coaching, editing, mentoring and overall sound leadership
  • Be a team player, self-starter and passionate about PR
  • Recognize potential client issues and bring them to supervisor's attention with recommended solutions
  • Support crisis communications efforts with direction from supervisor(s)

Who You Are

  • Four to five years' experience in luxury hospitality or lifestyle PR, preferably within an agency environment
  • 6 months to one year in a supervisory capacity managing at least 1 junior team member (i.e. account coordinator)
  • Highly organized, detail-oriented, with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced, multi-tasking environment
  • You're a self-starter with a proven ability to lead a team and work well independently
  • You have experience resolving client issues quickly and efficiently
  • Exceptional written and verbal communication skills
  • Outstanding team player with a positive attitude
  • You have a strong portfolio of secured media coverage across hospitality, business or lifestyle media, with experience securing national, regional, broadcast and digital coverage
  • You're someone who sees beyond today's announcement. You enjoy building long-term narratives that create momentum over months and years, not just securing the next headline
  • Comprehensive knowledge of the hospitality, travel, lifestyle business, design and luxury industries + media, including industry-appropriate bloggers and influencers
  • Proven experience handling crisis a plus

Bonus Points If This Sounds Like You

  • You're genuinely passionate about luxury hospitality and travel. You naturally follow major hotel/travel news, market trends, design innovations, and the stories redefining the industry.
  • You're endlessly curious about great storytelling. Whether it's a compelling executive profile, a standout development announcement, or an industry trend, you enjoy dissecting what makes coverage resonate.
  • You're the colleague sharing an insightful feature on a landmark hotel opening, emerging brand, or innovative new partnership or programmatic element because you're always thinking about what it means for clients and the industry.
  • You have a proactive mindset. You spot opportunities before they're obvious, bring thoughtful ideas to the table, and enjoy turning strategic insights into meaningful results.
  • You have experience developing executive thought leadership platforms and positioning C-suite leaders as industry experts.
