Job description

Job Summary: The Applications Sales Engineer serves as a liaison between the commercial and technical requirements in natural gas pipeline handling and transportation equipment. Must have a thorough knowledge of the market, the solutions/services the company can provide, and of the company’s competitors.


Essential Responsibilities:

  • Commercial & technical bridge experience.
  • Gathering & processing equipment expertise.
  • Organizational and presentation skills.
  • The ability to quickly learn and understand the client’s needs.
  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Customer contacts a must.
  • Strong customer relation skills.
  • Other tasks as assigned.


Skills and Qualifications:

  • Must have a BS in Mechanical or Chemical Engineering from an accredited university.
  • Effective interpersonal communication and teamwork skills to work both with clients and internally.
  • Be able to uphold Mueller Environmental Designs Core Values.


Physical Requirements and other items to communicate:

This is a remote position to work from a home office. Areas: South Texas & Louisiana. Travel is required.
